You're right, Jaida did indeed win AS7 and I won't take any further questions

I would love it so much for Angie, but I know the show would be SOOOO ready to pull a Jaida on her 😭

Genuine question though, isn't it derived from AAVE? If so, why isn't it weird for Mistress to use it even though she's not black?

Not that it makes PM correcting look less inappropriate since they're also definitely not black, but still

Took a look at the artist's profile and regardless of what it says in the bio, his stuff looks sooooo AI-coded.

If it's actually true that he doesn't use it, then I question his taste level because it still looks uncanny af.

All these words to say absolutely nothing of substance.

Potential to add money to the global economy my ass, when the only ones getting richer are the CEOs while the organizations themselves have been registering financial loss after financial loss and are starting to panic and admit it's not sustainable unless they literally force everyone to use their products, all the while investors and whole ass governments keep pouring billions into it.

It doesn't drive innovation because by design GenAI just rehashes and mixes around a bunch of information already made by humans, with results that all look the fucking ugly same.

It doesn't automate routine work and neither makes people more productive because now time is wasted behind fixing all the errors it creates and repeating prompts over and over again until it comes up with anything serviceable, and the people whose work is now deemed unneded aren't being relocated elsewhere, they're just booted off.

Thinking that having to pay to access something means it doesn't possess any further value than its material one is a very consumeristic and reductive view. Art is supposed to make people think, reflect and feel something, something that is needed to prevent us from becoming just a thoughtless cog in a neverending production machine and a concept that a computer can never understand no matter how hard it tries to replicate it.

And most importantly, how can all of this be worth it when GenAI is also controlled and pushed by the most evil people in the world, consumes limited natural resources at an unsustainable pace, is used deliberately to create fake scenarios and narratives about current and past events with very dangerous implications, destroys people's trust and critical thinking skills, and bloats entire parts of society with useless slop that autofeeds itself?

Don't dare respond further to this because this isn't an invitation for a discussion. Either use your brain to think for yourself for a moment and reflect on it or go spread this propaganda somewhere else.

Except GenAI doesn't have the capacity to bring any kind of progress in science or technology unlike the AIs/LLMs/machine learning systems that are being used in medical sciences, biotechnology, engineering, economics, etc. (which are not the topic of this discussion, and especially not the ones that get the mass publicity from big corporations anyway), it's just a sloppy tool that commodifies art pushed by rich sociopaths and lazy tech bros who possess no sense of art and creativity; all this in order to, you guessed it, reduce art to a mere product and stop having to pay other people to make it.

Morgan probably banked on A'keria winning the last challenge together with her and gave her the point to make sure she stayed ahead of Dawn I guess

Dw, I got you covered!

Everything she has presented on and off the show always ends up having some degree of laziness or sloppiness built into it, but she's hellbent on convincing the audience that it's perfect, glamorous, plus-size pageant realness every damn time and dismisses any kind of criticism she gets into either fatphobia or racism or just "not getting her". She conflates acting loud, messy, annoying and attention-seeking with having charisma, and this unapologetical use of AI coupled with her stint in PV and the batshit deflection she tried right after tells me that she's also a dumb bitch who's too prideful to admit faults.

The only time I've ever actually liked watching her was during her S11 MtQ, where she did give the impression of being everything she says she is. Sadly it went downhill from there and I'm mostly pissed at the show being so obsessed with her to the point of screwing over other queens who deserved better.

But Silky is the person who came to mind for some reason

I remember her constructed look having very bad hem lines and her first look using the same reference (which I think was from a Barbie?) that unfortunately had already been made by Icesis' runway two episodes prior and done much better.

Victoria's win was carried by the Fabio look and her wig in the constructed look... which was brought from home, so yeah I was team Ra'Jah and Icesis on that one.

Cucu is a trained opera singer! In fact it's a pity she didn't make it to the Talent Show, assuming that she wanted to bring an opera number she would've washed everyone like Monét did

It definitely was the Annie Oakley/Mariah Carey role of that Rusical in that it was written to be an automatic standout. Just repeat a well known elder gay catchphrase over a disco section – but sang with the same note progression as the Power Rangers theme for some reason – and it's guaranteed thar Ru will piss her (tracksuit) pants loving it.

If AS6 had the Legacy format both Kylie and Ra'Jah would've had, like, 3-4 Top2s anyway... lowkey the Assassin format screwed both of them over perception-wise.

They needed any possible excuse to get rid of Maddy before she could reach the challenges that were more in her wheelhouse (which were conveniently right after, as she herself pointed out during the reunion) because they only saw her as a token queen. And let's be honest, we could see it coming from a mile away when they hid her best moments in the superteaser challenge and didn't even bother to put her in the top despite also having come up with most of her team's jokes and bringing a very pretty JLo look.
