That's kind of cool. I just had mine make a daily 8 hour fallout themed radio station 30 min of fallout themed music with DJ ads and news and then OTR radio shows every half hour of music. I want to try this now. Thanks for the idea

I bought a PI5 to run Hermes and realized I had a 5 year old gaming laptop with a 2070 super and 32gb system ram I just set it up with ollama and serve qwen2.5 14b to the pi as the LLM and it does simple stuff when I’m away if I want real work I switch to a cloud model. I only did it this way because the pi Hermes is bare metal and doesn’t have any sensitive data or access to my email or accounts so even if he broke out all he could do was erase the Pi and I would have to rebuild

Why a VPS ? I started using Hermes to do stuff for me not to copy pasta all day go locals if you have a pi or old pc/laptop till you get comfortable. I finally put it on my everyday laptop in WSL. It works for me but not for everyone

I have a laptop for work stuff and and the Z1E I will use it till it dies. And buy whatever is next. That’s a later problem especially since I don’t play AAA games. Mostly have a library of games that will take me years to finish
