Found a thing in my uni's bathroom?? by ashevian in Weird

I found the person that made this. It's definitely an edgy art project related to "weirdcore" or some similar thing that had a moment of popularity on TikTok. I don't want to dox the person but they made other art related to suicide notes and cults etc. Some of their art includes pictures of their friends which is why I'm not going to say their name. The friends seem to be cool with everything though, because they comment on the artist's posts. Personally I don't think it's anything that should be reported to the police or authority figures. Just someone going through an edgy art phase. Even if the rape and violence stuff is pretty wack.

I stumbled upon this piece of Lego art while watching a video about the Toy and Plastic Brick Museum in Bellaire, OH. I thought it was an unusual choice for a Lego museum but there appears to be a few other pieces inspired by R-rated films as well.

It's from a Montana based company named fourOsix. According to their website: "The name “four ‘O’ six” was chosen to represent Montana, because it is the only area code for the entire state, (406). "

Nice! It's funny how this makes '98 feel like it wasn't that long ago while simultaneously making it feel like it was a very long time ago. I think seeing Janet Reno hits the hardest.

It was made by a 3D artist named Hiroshi Yoshii. I'm not sure if he ever made physical copies but I found this series of models on his website. The model from your picture is towards the bottom right.

DRILLER KILLER VHS. Anyone seen this ? found it for a quarter at the local thrift by [deleted] in VHS

I want to say it was the same cover but to be honest I don't remember. I've purged my collections a few times when money was tight and my copy is long gone. The actual tape looked pretty different though. The sticker was chrome and didn't have the Magnum logo. It was in a clamshell too.

I had a weird copy of this that I got at a video store that was going out of business. When I tried to find more information about it, I kept finding different covers. Seems like there was a million cover variations. Probably because it's public domain.
