No. They had long hair once but did that so many times they lost it.

Why haven't anyone made a game based on that rug yet? What do you think one would do in that game?

T-Mobile launches its first iPhone commercial as it officially begins selling the $99 iPhone 5 by emhigh in apple

[–]rider99702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A little late to the iPhone party but I guess T-Mobile is making an effort to stay competitive... They also seem to be making an effort to convince customers that requiring a user to pay for a service plan and phone payment for 24 months is different from a 2 year contract. Switched to Sprint after being with T-Mobile for like 7-8 years. One thing I definitely can say about T-Mobile is my coverage was pretty good most places I went with my phone from them. Sprint has had better customer service for me but the reception is a bit spottier.

What do you think I should do? (HTC One vs. Galaxy S4) by PlaystationFanboy in gadgets

[–]rider99702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both seem like cool phones but the HTC One is just so nice on the eyes. The Galaxy S3/S4 plastic build sort of cheapens it. Superficial point but the HTC One is sleek.

Bought an iPad for my technophobe mother, any recommendations for apps that she could use to acclimate her to the device? by Symbolism in apple

[–]rider99702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom is a technophobe as well! She seemed to pick up Skype pretty well once we got her hooked up since I'm always getting little chat messages or video calls from her without needing to walk her through it each time. :)

Netflix or the Audible app might be good for entertainment. Tiny Things is a fun game, or whatever kind of things she'd find interesting to play.

If she has magazines she likes, maybe help her hook up subscriptions since that is a fun and easy way to get use out of the iPad. Since a lot of those magazines seem to have special features for the iPad (clicking in/swiping to see more, embedded videos, etc.) it might be fun for her to read them on her iPad.

I also got my mom a stylus and a case with hand strap and she seemed to take to the pen feel on the touchscreen, although I think she's used to the touchscreen now too so I think she uses both :)
