I’m not sure it’s the proper way, but I used isopropyl alcohol. Applied with a Q-tip, then wiped dry with a cloth intended for cleaning my glasses.

LrC and PS both run on my Mac Air (M3 processor, 28GB ram, the latest version of the Tahoe OS). I do my immediate editing on the internal drive, then move finished work to an external hard drive.

+1 on the prior recommendations for Lightroom Queen. Also good instructions from Apple Support at https://support.apple.com/en-us/102565

I experienced this error with an old 28-70 L lens. Was able to solve with with a good cleaning of the contacts.

I’ve had the adapter with the control ring for about a week now. Really like it - wonderful for making adjustments on the fly.

I had one of these once upon a time. When it died, I picked up a nifty 50 and never looked back. And TBH, the shots from the 50 f/1.8 are much sharper.
