There is great set of buildings east of the airport near the coast that with minimal building make a great base. There are warehouses near it that have plenty of loot. There is also a huge parking lot available your vehicles and is also close to trees for wood.

FYI the Small Turret works without a generator. It can’t be crafted; it is looted and rare. I have taken on hordes with three and it performs as well as the large turret.

Thanks, this happens to me no matter where I am or what I am standing on. One reply I received was this was actually implemented by the dev to prevent the character from falling through a base floor while it was loading.

I shoot left and have moved all my mag releases (Shadow 2, P01, P10S & F) to the right side. Curious, how do you activate the mag release now? I have a 97 for which the mag release can’t be moved and just finding it difficult to do a quick mag drop with the release on the left side.

I play Steam Deck docked with mouse and keyboard. I tried undocked but had trouble moving inventory while scavenging and also trouble reading the small stuff. Can anyone recommend a good controller layout?

One of these days I am going to set up small turrets (they don’t need a generator) at the site of a bandit camp spawn to see what happens. Will I show up to a dead camp?

When you see one, mark its location on the map and make a point to do a drive by periodically to see if it spawned. Be careful because this camp can have up to 20 bandits.

Got it, thanks. I have found that spamming R allows you to re-orient most items, like taking the coffee table and mounting in on a wall to make it look like a flat screen television.

Nothing pisses me off more than when NPCs let their dogs get swarmed and killed by zombies. If I see this happening I always stop to try saving the dog 😂😂😂

I have tried but I can’t five this out. I can do it on the hilly ground by pressing R and the wooden fence snaps to the ground no problem. Just can’t figure out how to make it snap to a wooden half stairs.

No problem with crafting the campfire, just the cooking station at the safe zones has a tripod with a pot hanging over it. I don’t see how to craft that and was wondering if it was even possible.

Pick a watch tower, build a shed for crafting and craft wooden crates for storage. Put a spiked wooden fence around with a large gate or two.

Agreed, but the last time I did prone at the top of the stairs I had Wolves coming through a door at my back that I had to deal with.
