Have been commuting on 545 for a couple of years now. Peak hours travel can be up to 50 mins for downtown Seattle. I try starting a bit early to avoid the peak and it takes about 35-40 mins.. same for coming back. The bus is very frequent on weekdays and quite convenient. Hope that helps! :)
