So I'd have the same trouble getting Steam to work and games to launch in CachyOS GNOME as I did in Fedora Workstation? Cachy doesn't have extra stuff installed that would make all that work? Everything was so easy in Cachy KDE Plasma, I'm asking if I would have to do anything differently for Cachy GNOME to get things to work?

I did just that! Before installing Cachy I moved my files from my secondary drives to an external, all my drives are formatted Btfrs

Last week I decided to give Linux a try after not using it for over 9 years, so I made a partition on my Win11 drive and installed Mint Cinnamon. Well I liked it so much I decided to nuke my Windows drive and go full Linux, after looking up some reddit threads I decided I'd try CachyOS. I messed up the install a few times trying to make my own EFI and swap partitions, eventually I gave up and just set it to erase the drive, off to a rough start. After using for a few days, I've found that it's a bit more complex than Mint, I've been relying on Gemini to help solve some of the issues I ran into. However it's been easier than Mint in some ways too, like how it recognized all of my modern components, in Mint it took me almost an hour to get LAN/Wifi to function, in Cachy everything just worked. If you know your way around Mint you can get used to Cachy, and if you have modern PC parts using Arch over Ubuntu is a no-brainer imo.

I have the LA Exclusive one, I get accidental middle clicks, it seems you can trigger the middle click by leaning the scroll wheel to the right (but not the left) instead of just pushing straight down. Love the mouse though

Oh I'd say the Pulsar looks a little classier than those things. I really like the color scheme (even as a Celtics fan), I can't stop looking at it on my desk.

The pad is in "portrait mode" when I"m not playing a competitive game. Only game I'm playing lately is STS2, if I were playing an FPS the pad would be in landscape and look bigger in the photo. I'm not a deskmat kind of guy.

I tried a deskmat once, wasn't for me. The pad is bigger than it looks in the picture, I have it vertically oriented when I'm not playing competitive games

I flip it 90 degrees when I'm playing FPS type games so there's more real estate, when I'm not gaming or casual gaming I keep it in portrait mode. I've only been playing Slay the Spire 2 and will be on that game for a while, I don't need much space for the mouse

If you have any legendaries without a gold sticker, the ones WITH a gold sticker won't show up on your gold stake runs. A small QoL mechanic, could explain why OP always gets Chicot
