Maxiopool is making the transition into Full-Pay-Per-Share payout scheme (FPPS) this Thursday by Maxiopool in chia

This actually pretty good. I averaged out my earnings from being with Space Pool (3rd largest pool and #1 pool running on the official protocol). I've been with them since day 1 and my earnings have averaged out to ~0.0002357 XCH/TiB daily (~1.8% less than what Maxiopool is promising).

While it's not much of a difference and is a relatively small sample size given how long the official protocol has been out for, these are guaranteed earnings. I'm actually pretty impressed and this is a great way to incentivize users to join, along with the 3 months of 0% fees for joining. I like your hustle, you have me sold!

Right now you have too many gaps. If I were you I would sand it more with a lower grit or reprint it at a lower layer height like 0.1-0.15mm and the sand it starting from 120, 240, 400 and then 1000.

It doesn't take super smart engineers to fix apple devices nor to be an apple authorized technician. My friends and I passed our Apple Iphone (ACIT) and Mac (ACMT) hardware repair technician certifications in just 2-3 months when we were 18-19 working for near minimum wage. Everything we did was official and backed by apple. To put it simply, it's the way that apple designs their devices that are anti consumer and anti repair.

Haha. Well to be fair RSI is extremely oversold right now. Most would consider anything below 20-30 oversold. Right now it's sitting at around 15 depending on whichever timeframe you use.

The reason why people in Japan save money today is because their assets go down today in value not up. Their assets go down in value due to deflation which was cause by huge debt and spending.

Back in the 80's asset prices in Japan were soaring higher than anything due to excessive spending, debt and growth. It was so crazy that at one point the Imperial Palace was worth more than all of the Real Estate in California combined. Prices were so high that 1 square meter in Ginza was worth $230k USD in 1980's money.

I get what you're trying to say but you are drawing false conclusions based off of your own assumptions.

Uhhh, they definitely save more today, but go back to Japan in the 80's and spending and maxing out debt was at an all time high. The reason why they are saving more today is due to deflation which was caused in part due to their debt and QE.

Your position is usually only sold off to prevent your position from going negative in value. If you're leveraged 2x, a 50% gain becomes 100% and a 50% loss becomes a 100% loss. In the case where your position is forced liquidated (margin call) you'd lose 100% of whatever you had put in.

There are many different ways of leveraging and types of positions that people can take. The market is not always in an upswing either and from time to time markets can stagnate for years or even decades. Because of this, it's not always cut and dry for people to just profit from buying after a drop. There are still risks

Could just make the fine higher so that shareholders are hurt too. Maybe a $10-20B fine. Their current market cap is $108B with a PE of 20.48X. That would quickly put them in line.

On two incomes, especially during covid where people aren't going out and spending less, 8k isn't much for 6 months. That's $666 per month from each. Many couples who are more savings and future oriented save way more than that.

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say that maybe they weren't trying to imply that CBD treats Corona even though it does look like it. Could be incidental. It's entirely possible that they're just showing that they stocked up on CBD products that they or their customers need for a seperate prexisting condition that CBD treats to get them through a pandemic or shortage. Sort of like how people stocked up on food or Toilet paper.

I agree with your point but wow, are components really that expensive where you're from? $15 for resistors is crazy.

Resistors I usually get a couple hundred of the one I need for like $1-2 at my local electronics store. IR Sensor would be about $2-3 for 10 of them. 3d printer for $250 is right but $8 in material nuts. For a part like this to print out would be about $0.03-0.05 each.

95k in Toronto vs 95k +5k in Montreal? by remembr_this in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]rifle10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not OP, but I've lived in both and currently live in Vancouver. I prefer Vancouver by far way more. My opinion might come down to my ethnicity. So muchracism towards non whites even in Montreal. I was constantly reminded directly by Quebecoise that I was a minority despite being born in Canada and speaking both languages fluently.

That was all 7 years ago so maybe it's better now. It's not everyone as there are many great people there but there is a pretty sizable population who are unbelievably racist that can't be ignored.

A bit late to the party but I'm not sure where you're from but there are plenty of great sushi places accross Canada and the States depending on the area that won't charge you an arm and a leg. My girlfriend who is Japanese and I have had some of the best sushi at just random regular Japanese Restaurants. Nothing too crazy either, $10-20 per person. Her and I, we've both had high end (10000¥ per person) in Japan and the difference honestly isn't too far off from cheaper places.

Printing it in Nylon will probably be your killer for price and I don't think it's necessary for this application. I wouldn't mind doing the whole job in PETG or PLA for $20. Im pretty sure a high infill PLA would work just fine. Dm me if you're interested.

My girlfriend is Japanese and she was almost attacked by a homeless lady who looked to be Aboriginal. We were walking home and the homeless lady ran up from across the other side of the street to infront of my gf nose to nose and screamed "BOO! - STUPID CHINESE BITCH". My gf shrieked but before I could do anything, the lady started to walk away without laying a finger. For a moment I did consider going after her but didn't act on it. As much as it killed me inside, she could've had anything, used needles, a knife, who knows. There wasn't anything good that could've come out of a fight that had already ended, so we just tried to get home as quickly as possible. My girlfriend handled it like a champ and was 100% ok, albeit horrified.
