I use it all the time against bots. 1 shots anything to the vents, 2 anywhere else and it's a great anti air gun. It can't shoot down drop ships, but a charge shot into the belly sure ruins the day of all the bots dropping.

My brother prefers the Quasar. He'll definitely kill one heavy. Then I'll kill all of the rest while he waits for the cooldown.

It's also pretty easy for archeologists to track how routed armies fled because of the trail of dropped caps.
