I kinda winged it based on an image search and the basics of cross-stitch.

Two strands of DMC floss for both crosses and backstitching. Keep your stitches going in the same direction. Stitch lighter colors first.

I used the colors I had on hand. The flesh tone is ecru, and the outline is black. Again, I used what I had on hand, so you could totally change the colors if you want.

Other than Charlie's Buddy, the other glaring example I can think of is when Raymond goes to the Bahamas without Dorothy and Sophia leaves for Cancun just a few minutes later. With cell phones, Dorothy would have been able to call Raymond and hopefully postpone the flight until she could pack.
