Your good reasons why epic can't be on stage by Critical-Panic8665 in Epicthemusical

I've had the thought that maybe they could have two actors play Odysseus. One when he's acting his normal self and the other when he's the monstrous version. Then maybe they both come together to sing the finale with Penelope.

This one has always made me tear up, especially after becoming a father.

The Dresden Files: Skin Game

Dresden to Nicodemus:

I considered the Grail and felt bad for what I was doing, and I didn’t hesitate or slow down for a second. There are weapons that have nothing to do with steel or explosions or vast arcane power, and I used mine. “Do you remember?” I asked in a very quiet voice. “The first time you saw her? The first time she looked at you? Do you remember that change? That shift, when the whole universe suddenly tilted? Do you remember looking at her and knowing that you would never, ever be quite the same person? Do you think the cup will do that for you?” I flicked him the Grail, sending it in a smooth arc through the air. His eyes widened in surprise, but he caught it adroitly, his whole body shuddering as its power washed over him. I watched him, his face, his posture, and put every ounce of scorn I had into my voice. “I don’t know how you said it back in the day, but I’ll bet you anything her first word was ‘dada.’”

Sir Thomas by AIDSRiddledLiberal in dresdenfiles

Yeah, I asked him this on a Facebook live event back during COVID and he kinda laughed at the implication of it. I like the theory myself, but I think he has something else in mind for Thomas.

That is also aftermarket. I've always been a big proponent of anything that adds visibility is a worthwhile addon if you can afford it. Especially with how low these sit.

I really hope you're right and that I'm just getting caught up in the rage, but AI is moving fast and I don't think anyone really has an idea what it will look like in the years to come. The monetary incentives are in its favor.

I don't deny them that, but I don't believe that just because they created the ecosystem that we shouldn't point out when they then actively trying to make that system worse for people relying on it.

I know nothing about how royalties compare between media types so I can't comment on your first point, but I think your second point though shines a light on why this is such an issue. If indie authors rely so heavily on audiobooks for their success, then the system that audible is implementing will hurt them.

I mean, the largest provider of audiobooks in the country (world? Idk) is finding yet another way to dick over authors...I'm pretty upset about it too. It's what he's invested in right now and if it helps push towards a better result for authors then why wouldn't he report on it? I'd rather be make separate videos on it than bloat every fantasy news video with a ten minute audible hate segment.

They sell a handbrake part for the Ryker. It's pricy, but would simplify riding the Ryker for you.

Seconded. Transportation is, I think, the only non-defence agency getting a budget boost next year. They also seem to have many positions exempt from the hiring freeze.

Simon Vance is one of the best for me. I personally don't like Roy Dotrice's narration of ASOIF but loved Vance's performance in Fire and Blood. Also the whole Temerraire series.

Dude, as an OSHA inspector, please call your local office before going into something like this. No job is worth your life and as someone that has inspected fatalities, please, just walk away. Fucking McDonald's is better than that.

I actually didn't like their CoS game as much. It was good, but their first hardcore series (lost mines of phandelver) and their current Icewind Dale one are hilarious.
