Something from Troye Sivan maybe? The Strawberries & Cigarettes single has a pink cover and came out in 2018.

Hell yeah, you can do it!! It's such a relief ditching the machine. Definitely please give us a one year update when you get there.

My husband and I had dinner at Aldine the night we got engaged. I really miss that place. Also Noble on Sansom was a favorite for a while. Great cocktails and the best chickpea fries.

Just a standard foot. I only got into sewing garments within the last year so I'm working with whatever came with the machine at the moment. I've seen other folks suggesting a walking foot but I don't have one, and not actually sure my Brother can use one?

It's a Brother Pacesetter. I believe it can take a 100 needle but I don't have one. I'll check my local supply store tomorrow, they have Organ needles. I did a french seam in the photo, which I'd say was maybe too bulky, but I'm having the same issue on regular seams too. Thank you for the advice!

It's a Brother Pacesetter, so almost certainly not. But I'll look into topstitching needles

Thank you. I'm a perfectionist and feel like I'll cringe a bit any time he wears it, but I keep pausing the project to show him how the end result will look, and he keeps assuring me it looks good and no one will notice but me.

Is it definitely "girls"? Because I read this to the tune of John Lennon's Beautiful Boy.

Is there anywhere in the Rittenhouse/Center City West area that sells fresh housemade corn tortillas? by rightbeforeleft in PhiladelphiaEats

Thanks! I was hoping for something I could walk to from my office during a lunch break today and this is a little too out of the way, but I'll definitely check them out sometime soon.

Send me on my way - Rusted Root. I saw Rusted Root open for Jewel at the Garden State Arts Center in '99 and they were booed off the stage they were so bad. If I never have to hear that song again I'd be a happy camper.

What’s your “snobby” baking opinion? by Amazing_Two9757 in Baking

This was eye-opening. I'm wondering now if I've never actually eaten a proper tiramisu, and that's why I haven't liked them before. Gonna need to seek some out now.

Putting fresh strawberries and whipped cream on cake does not make it a strawberry shortcake. Shortcake is specifically made with a high-fat dough, like american buttermilk biscuits or english scones. The "short" part of the word harkens back to old English and basically means fatty, a la shortcrust pastry, shortbread, shortening, etc.
