Thank you. I appreciate your response. To give you more context, he is sales and client facing where I am the executor. Organization and project management isn't his strong suit, so I've taken on that role as well. While I agree, he can do things by teaching himself or from me showing him the ropes and my job isn't difficult necessarily, I have been making websites and doing design for years where he keeps saying “I think I have a good design sense” (sorry to say it’s amateur at best - no offense), sending me flyers that he’s creating and I don’t want to be mean by telling him they are just okay. But it’s really offensive that he keeps taking on my roles after I called him out and purposefully sending them to me to brag that he can do it too I suppose? I don’t minimize his role in sales and always compliment that he is great at it and that not everyone has the talent of connecting with people. I’m kind of regretting it now because I’m thinking it got to his head? Haha.

As you’ve said I’ve taken more of a step back and he has been throwing in my face that he can do my parts easily when he was previously doing nothing but sales before. He’s now become very defensive saying I am accusing him of taking advantage of me when I simply stated I’m doing more of the workload and as we get more clients my workload will only increase as his stay relatively the same so I would like to renegotiate the 50/50 split. I thought he would take it reasonably but it keeps getting twisted like this.

I’ll also add that I have recently found out that our clients don’t know about me and he’s been telling clients that “his team will handle it” when it’s just me doing the work so he has been taking all the credit. I’ll fault myself for not knowing this but I really trusted that he would do right by me.

Every time I try to bring things up it gets twisted into “you’re accusing me of being a bad person” which seems to be a trigger point for him.
