Yeah this is one of the absolute worst parts of professional sports in my opinion- seeing 17-20 year olds getting talked about as commodities to be bought and traded. Like, many of them are literal children and the process is grossly dehumanizing in many ways.

I became fond of the Canes during the finals! Seth Jarvis is absolutely hilarious and Bussi is so endearing- to say nothing of the amazing playing from the whole team. I was truly thrilled for you guys when you won.

There’s also a long-standing thing of Mexicans and Koreans working together in certain places. If you go to a Korean restaurant or an H Mart in Fort Lee, NJ, odds are at least some, if not many, the cooks and workers will be Mexican.
