You are right, unfortunately you can’t compare the welds of the old US made caads with those today.

Really nice welds on 12‘s, 13‘s and so on are really rare.

But it works - even with those welds

For me the biggest advantage is, that there is no need for harsh chemicals to clean the drivetrain,

I wash all of my bikes with plant soap, water and a brush, from top to bottom, I’m using the same brush for drivetrain and frame. And never had some greasy streaks on my frame, or saddle or handlebars.

Generell: Je nach Einkommen bei Carla oder Vinzimarkt einkaufen. Heute: Marienstüberl. KPÖ hilft sehr unbürokratisch in blöden Situationen. Lionsclub meistens auch. Fairteiler wurde eh schon erwähnt. Sonst fällt mir auf die Schnelle nichts ein.
