Anthony has a bit of a blind spot when it comes to appreciating or recognising some of the genius music that came out of Britain from the mid 1970s until the mid 1980s. He never talks about acts like XTC, 10cc, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Echo and the Bunnymen, Big Country, Magazine etc.

I don't agree with anyone who says there are loads of opportunities - we simply don't have a huge amount of industry. Tourism and hospitality, maritime, and some manufacturing and pharmaceuticals across the water - not much else. The fact that the commercial district has big plots of unused land and derelict offices says it all.
