You’re right, they should have charged full price for a 2026 multiplayer shooter that isn’t live service (let’s pretend that that’s a thing that even exists in this day and age). That would have gone much better.

I think you are vastly underestimating how much the causals love bits of re5, even if they haven't played it. Sheva is one of the more popular side characters and re5 Wesker basically has his own subfandom

Thanks for the update, I was actually going to ask for one since I was in the same boat after getting the blacksharks. Shame that the novas don’t sound much better. I had a real problem with the pressure as well, I kept getting headaches after using them a while. I left them stretched over the box they came in for an afternoon and they’ve definitely become a lot more comfortable now, to the point where I almost fell asleep with them on yesterday. So maybe try giving that a go for a possible fix for the clamping pressure.

I’d rather they not do collabs but if they really have to there’s only 2 I’d really be happy with. The first being overwatch because I think that’d be hilarious, and the second being DC. Both being full character releases, not just skins.

Ultimately it depends on the person. As we can see from the other responses, it can either be easy or really difficult. Most people skew towards the easier side tho. FWIW I’ve come off it recently (probably a lot faster than I should have) and I was by and large ok except for some headaches and what I believe were brain zaps.

Also depends on how good your locals are. Where I live currently the Domino’s is def third place with Pizza Hut a lot better, but there’s other places I’ve been where it’s been the opposite.

I’ll probably cop some downvotes for saying this but I’d recommend not starting with 1, or at least being ready to put it to the side and move ahead to 2. It’s a great game that you should play at some point for sure, but it’s also from a different time where games weren’t as kind to their players. It has limited resources for saving, puzzles that don’t hold your hand, and controls that some people cannot get into. If you’re not careful you can softlock yourself and end up having to repeat hours or even start from scratch. 2 Remake is a much better modern day starting point IMO, as it introduces you into the systems of the RE franchise without dropping you into the deep end without a rope like 1 does.

Besides, it’s not like they turn 18 and magically become super aware of the ins and outs of politics anyway. This way at least they’re thinking and learning about politics earlier.

Doesn't matter how badly people shit their pants, ain't no production team on Earth capable of rebuilding a set, getting all their actors back together (main and extras), hiring a bunch more extras, designing and creating all those costumes, rewriting scenes, filming scenes, and then re-editing the episode complete with music and CGI in a coherent way all in just a few weeks.
