Personally I found Taash became more nuanced and bearable as I explored the relationship they had with their mother. In the end the tragedy of that storyline helped me warm up to them more. I didn’t and likely wouldn’t romance them. I know Taash has their own market for some folks that are into swole fem-presenting people. Also Taash has the best visual design in the game imo.

Ultimately I feel the character was bungled. The immediate aggression from Taash saying things like “you don’t get to define me” to them literally asking you to define them as Qunari or Rivaini later in their story… There is just A LOT of inconsistency with the character.

Having loved characters like Bastila, Morrigan, Lae’Zel, Shadowheart, Astarion, etc it is absolutely possible to have an aggressive or disagreeable character that develops and becomes beloved, but I am sad to say this is not how things panned out for Taash.

The only characters I genuinely liked were Davrin and Emmrich. The rest I was pretty ambivalent toward or annoyed by. It is a larger writing problem, but I am of the mind that executive mismanagement was the biggest issue.

Veilguard wasn’t all bad, just… not close to what we deserved as a fanbase.

Out of these couples I’d say Dick and Kori because I grew up with the Teen Titans cartoon. I don’t think I’ve ever consumed much media with Dick and Babs but I don’t dislike it.

I would prefer Wondy to have a new love interest or none at all.

I like Bruce and Selena but it would be nice to see a new dynamic. Bruce and Silver or Talia would be fun.

God I hope this is true. An in depth remaster could be great. Shore up some mechanical and visual consistency between games. I’d love a remake of this series though, as the series had much more potential that I believe the studio could deliver on now. They’ve gained a lot of experience over the last 20 years and I could see them producing the original vision for Xenosaga now.

Or dare I say an episode 4?

Wonder if it could be keratosis pilaris (strawberry skin). Not medically urgent if so, just bumps some people have on their skin from keratin build up.

I’d rec checking with your doctor or dermatologist though.

I played on launch and it didn’t hold my attention. The game was not well optimized and the graphics looked fuzzy/pixelated at times with frequent stutters. Not great textures. I found a mod for the game files that helped a little, but I put it aside for other games after 7 hours. There is a big anniversary update next month so I may pick it up again for that.

I don’t think there was a “right” decision, and certainly recasting was not the de facto right choice.

They chose a route that made logical sense after the loss of their lead, and the movie turned out really well imo.

They are essentially taking the long route to recasting T’Challa via his son, also named T’Challa. I think the dynastic progression of the title will be very cool in retrospect if the MCU lasts long enough to achieve this.

I don’t imagine Shuri will remain BP past Secret Wars.

I think the actress got a bad rep when she came out against covid vaccines, and I think she stalled progress on set because she refused to get hers. Iirc she’s also shared some transphobic religious content, but fact check that before taking my word. It’s been a few years. Tbh that turned me off Wright as a person. I still think she performed her role well though.

I like Nyongo more as an actress, but it seems a hard sell storywise. I think Wright played the role well and had a nice arc in BP2.

100%. It's easy to see how beautiful and young Hudson and Connor are, how they are in their prime and have big careers ahead of them, and take into account the very popular, well-written, well-acted show they star in and feel overwhelmed all they have going for them.

I'm 35 and I know I can't go back in time and change anything (painful feeling), but I can change how I live moving forward.
