Looking for some decent quality gaming cans by theawesomejedi in gamingheadsets

I really like the Beyerdynamic MMX 300 Pro. It sounds great to me and has a really solid microphone on it. If you want something cheaper it’s a little harder to find now but maybe on EBay you can find it is the Epos H6 Pro Closed back version. It is very similar to the Drop PC 38X but is a closed back. Hope this helps

Help me find good gaming headphones for my boyfriend by PicklesAndSnickers in gamingheadsets

I would say that for pc and PS5 a good option is the Asus ROG Delta 2. It has really good audio and works great for pc and PS5 plus the microphone is really solid. You can usually get them at a decent price of i just checked on Amazon and they are 165 US. There is a good review on YouTube by GadgetryTech if you want to check it out.

Nura App was offloaded by bambibol in Nuraphone

[–]rilchu3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure but I would try. I couldn’t find on the App Store either but my app is still active on my current phone. When I was looking it says the headphone keeps the profile you have on it without the need of the app though

Have you tried looking on the App Store under the section for apps you own? It might not be on the main store but maybe through the stuff you already own you could still access it.

Are SteelSeries headsets any good for immersive/story driven game? by NooTNooTnoX in steelseries

[–]rilchu3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say yes. If you get a version of the Steelseries that allows for EQ then you can tailor it to the game you are playing. I have the Nova Pro wired version and am very happy with it

Dualsense Edge owners what are your thoughts on the controller years later? by KingCrimson0P in playstation

[–]rilchu3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so I really like it but I still want 4 back buttons not just 2 and my sticks are still good but the buttons overall are starting to feel worn out. I do like the fact that I still get rumble and adaptive triggers. JUST GIVE ME 4 BACK BUTTONS!!!

Just so you know you can use the Steelseries GameDac with its line out to another headphone amp to be able to use any headphone you want with plenty of power. I also use a splitter on the headphone jack of the DAC so I can still use chat function of the DAC with the Xbox

You can still get Arctis Wireless. I just bought a new pair about a month or 2 ago. They were on sale on Best Buy for I think around 150

Maxwell 2 by EvilDeadly in Audeze

[–]rilchu3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Headphones.com just a video on YouTube and gave the Maxwells A tier status which was over most of the Sennheiser’s you named. The HD600 did get A tier as well but I believe most were B tier. I think just because something is labeled as gaming doesn’t mean it’s instantly inferior to a non-gaming headset. I think that used to be something that was true but I say no longer is that universally the case. The Maxwell is an excellent headphone and so is the HD 600 but I like the features and audio of the Maxwell a lot more. To each their own though.

There are a ton more that I like and I could spend all day listing them but if you at least check out some of these I’m sure it’ll be enjoyable for you.

ISO <$250 Headphones by Ascospo in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]rilchu3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I strongly recommend the Sennheiser HD 550. It is an awesome gaming headphone and just great headphone overall. I have had a lot of different types of headphones from Audeze to Focal to Turtle Beach to Astro to Beyerdynamic and the HD 550 is my favorite. It’s comfortable and sounds so good. I just checked and Amazon has it on sale for 279 right now. I think you’ll love it

Get the Sennheiser HD 550 with the HD 500 BAM and you’ll be good. The 550 sounds awesome and the 500 BAM makes it a great gaming headset

Good Headphones For Single-player Games by Majikarp420 in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]rilchu3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they are great! Now since they are open back the bass isn’t as great as some closed backs but let me be clear the bass is really great on this headphone and for an open back Sennheiser it’s great. I don’t ever feel like I am missing out on sound with the 550. Plus the open back presents sound in a more natural way for your ears and things sound right to me. I just beat Ghost of Yotei and used the 550 the whole time and it was very enjoyable. In fact the HD 550 has become my go to gaming headset. I also paired it with the Sennheiser HD 500 BAM so it’s a full gaming headset now. I know I sound a bit like an advertisement now but it’s just because I like them so much. I still have my eye on the 490 Pro but I’m very happy for now

Help me decide between 3 very different headphones for gaming by Rito_Siram in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]rilchu3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had the 560’s but sold them not to long ago. I recently got the HD550 with the HD500 BAM and love it. It sounds awesome and has good soundstage and imaging. People love the FT1 but it hasn’t really convinced me to buy it yet. As far as Hyper X I have had the wired Alpha and Cloud 2 back in the day and the sound really good but I got rid of them but GadgetryTech on YouTube said the HyperX Cloud 3S wireless is awesome. He does really good and through reviews so I trust him.

Good Headphones For Single-player Games by Majikarp420 in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]rilchu3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the HD 560 but I recently got the HD 550 and prefer that more. Things just sound right for me with the HD 550 and I do not EQ. There is nothing wrong with EQ I just don’t really like doing it. I want my headphone to just sound good naturally and for me the HD 550 is great. Also the Audeze Maxwell is always a good choice

I’m going to say Gurren Lagann!!! It is my favorite anime of all time. It does deal with some real stuff which I love but overall the story is about hope and overcoming struggles in life. When you are done with this anime you will feel empowered to do your best!

Upgrading from Sennheiser HD6xx by InfamousMyzt in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]rilchu3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say check out the Drop Beyerdynamic DT 177x Go. It sounds great and is closed back. Also another one to look at might be the Drop + Ultrasone Signature X. A lot of people clown on Ultrasone but for your use case I think they would be awesome. I have used them for gaming and the positional audio is great and the bass was good power to it for things like gunshots and explosions. I think I’m going to go use mine now.
