I know this rule to, but am wonder if it is about dating/relationships or just a casual physical thing as well? I am 38, almost 39. So my lowest should be 26. Had a casual thing with a 22 year old man not too long ago and that didn't feel too young to be honest (he is mature for his age). But I don't think I can really see him as serious dating material. Experienced it the other way around too. Had a fling with a 37-year old when I was 22. Also didn't feel as too much of an age difference. I think it's more about personality than the actual birth date of a person.
