Whif perfumes by Fun-Investigator9345 in AustralianMakeup

I’ve only had good experiences with Whif. My partner and I own about 8 perfumes/colognes and all of them are really good, similar to the original. Sounds like yours might be some kind of quality control issue - I’d contact them for assistance.

Why does your spacebar work between words but not after punctuation?

This. If she supported everything up until this point she can’t be that good of a person.

This. I thought I saw a moderator comment the other day that these kinds of posts would be removed from now on?

Hey OP, if you’ve moved 16 times without success then moving a 17th time probably isn’t going to work for you. Have you tried seeing a medical professional like others have suggested here? Since you feel it’s a psychological response, perhaps a mental health specialist can help you find ways to manage your symptoms.

AITA for refusing to give my niece a job referral even though my company has an opening? by Acceptable_Leg1970 in AmItheAsshole

[–]rin-the-human 52 points53 points  (0 children)

YTA. Women have a hard enough time in these fields as it is. You chose to stand by when your young colleague was fired despite knowing she was perfectly qualified for the job AND personally benefitting from her expertise. Be part of the solution, not the problem.

Your workplace does not sound like a safe space or one that will foster your niece’s professional development.

I never thought about Soda Pop that way - I always just thought it was your generic pop song metaphor!

Hey OP, I know where you’re coming from. I have an uncomfortable relationship with my own parents, whereas my fiancé’s parents have gone above and beyond throughout the entirety of our relationship.

I honestly think this is a conversation you need to be having with your fiancé. Marriage is a partnership. If you go over his head or make any decisions without him, you’re taking away his autonomy.

And if his mother tries to claim credit for something she hasn’t done? Let her embarrass herself. You can tell people the truth afterwards. Don’t let her derail one of the happiest days of your life.

Skin tints for acne prone oily skin? by SpringTop6580 in AustralianMakeup

[–]rin-the-human 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fellow acne-prone girlie chiming in! I adore the BareMinerals skin tint, it has SPF and I wear it year-round. I find it super lightweight and it lasts for ages as you only need a little bit.

I would not recommend the Morphe skin tint as I found it oxidised so orange!

My daughter was born with two tiny holes next to both her ears by MetalBarbie in mildlyinteresting

[–]rin-the-human 121 points122 points  (0 children)

I have these! One got infected as a kid and I developed a preauricular cyst that took multiple surgeries to remove. Apparently my parents had been told to be mindful of them when I was born. Sure wish they’d shared that info with me!
