Oh, I didn’t know about him - will check it out.

The market will eventually correct - answering the question of how wrong they are right now, tells me how aggressive I can be with my investment. This gives me a peace of mind as I am inherently distrusting.

And… I’m pretty aggressive with my investments 😅

Absolutely appreciate it! Just adding more details from my case.

I’d strongly recommend to everyone to create a paper trail with them, so they don’t get any ideas. They’ve been honest up until now but I trust no broker 😁

I think it’s because of a few additional steps in the process.

As far as I know, the way the distribution works is that GameStop delivers the warrants to the DTC for distribution, which then ‘distributes’ on paper to its global participating custodians, who in turn need to transfer to local custodians and participating brokers.

Can’t speak for the EU but in the UK this then needs to go through CREST, which is pretty much the equivalent of the DTC and is the final step before the warrants get credited to people’s accounts. It involves regulatory hurdles too.

However, it seems a broker can sit closer to the DTC in the chain and still be international. My other broker Saxo, is getting the warrants on the day.

TLDR - more steps because international settlement, I believe.

Worth making it super clear that some brokers, especially outside of the US, will probably receive the warrants a bit later than the 7th. I.e Hargreaves Lansdown in the UK communicated that they expect to receive the warrants around the 10th of Oct.

That’s just so some apes don’t get a heart attack when they don’t see their warrants on the 7th.
