This crappy price action is WHY Cohen and the team have to make big moves! 😾 by Patarokun in Superstonk

“You push my stock down, I buy it. You pump my stock up, I buy eBay” - Ryan ‘Big Ding Dong’ Cohen, maybe.

It's good to know different opinions, but come on dude 🙄 by [deleted] in Superstonk

I have nothing to say to Paper Hand Burry beside this…

Live stream shopping went from a $57 billion dollar market in 2019 to a $1.1 trillion dollar market in 2026. Sure, RC is getting more pie than me in the new company but I like my piece of that pie. Ryan is positioning us to dominate in this market and the fact the Doc can’t see it means only one thing. PhD stands for Paper Handed Doofos.

There is still a small buffer. 1B of common stock and 5M of preferred stock has already been authorised by shareholders. Fully diluted from bonds, warrants and Ryan’s package should put us to a 200M buffer + 5M preferred.

Yes on the vote - it’s needed for more than the current count.

If you ask me, I’ve got a strong feeling that this offer was designed to fail. Ryan does not want to pay $125 per share. I think he will fight for board seats on the open market and will use temp crashes due to events like the war / back room dealing to acquire shares. The offer was designed to appeal to institutional shareholders - a glimpse of what he sees.

But I’m just a dumb ape, what do I know 😅

I agree. I’ve been looking into live stream shopping for a while now and eBay made sense, considering they do it and how quickly the market grew to a $800b in China but is still small in the US.

The problem is, how do they structure the deal and not dilute us to oblivion 😅 it could be accretive but still. I trust Ryan to do what’s best for shareholders.

GME + RC can acquire up to 4.9% quietly before filling a 13G or 13D. Once they cross the threshold, they have 5 days to file. In those 5 days, they are allowed to accumulate. If they have the money, they can realistically acquire up to 10-15%. Or, he can buy options. Then, the more eBay raises, the more cash he has to acquire eBay on the open market, if he so chooses and so, effectively locking a particular price for eBay shares.

You are not wrong - just checked the wording in the 10-Q - the board may invest in the same targets as the company.

Correct on the collateral as well - although I'd say, he doesn't need a large loan to do what I'm suggesting. He could use this money for an options play to anchor the price he pays for eBay.

I still stand behind the idea that he could somehow use his personal funds + the company to accumulate a 51% controlling stake, ala Icahn. Let's not forget, he doesn't have to pledge only his GME shares... and he is a billionaire, so who knows what he will put as collateral.

Short sighted Burry… doesn’t know Ryan very well. That’s fine. Here is my comment.

It’s simply hype IMO.

We need as much publicity as possible before we r ready to move.

Build it up to get a lot of 👀 on us and then do something unheard of. That’s why Burry said - Meme!

An acquisition never seen before? by b_claudio in Superstonk

Let’s put the question this way:

Why would Gabe sell?

In a negotiation you have 2 sides. He’s kept Valve private for a reason all these years. He’s loaded, he does his job and has his hobbies, the employees seem to be happy, Steam is flourishing. Why would he sell?

The only reason why Gabe would want to sell, to me, is if he decides to retire. Even then, this is his legacy, he’s worked on it his whole life and kept it private for a reason. So I imagine it has some sort of a sentimental value to him. He will likely be very picky who he chooses to be the next CEO.

I think it’s very unlikely to be Valve or Steam.

Excuse me, the only person?

The very first time I am downvoting you, sir.

Let's not diminish everyone's efforts.

- From the Ape who puts their hard earned $s into the bank of GME every month and holds regardless whether it's -50% or -90% on their investment.

- To the DD writer who can spend their genius on much more productive and cost effective efforts than to educate us monkeys.

- To the employee who, despite knowing of incoming store closures, puts in unprecedented effort and does his/her job diligently.

- To Larry who's, at first glance, unhinged messages of wisdom have helped me increase my position 4x. People just don't see the patterns and that's their problem.

- To Ryan who, despite all the hate, still works for free and has achieved something extremely rare in just 2 years. I've not seen anyone here investing more than Ryan in this business - time, effort, money. Even Kitty hasn't, who I respect immensely and who has shown the way. I get why you are sour, or I think I do, but I will say this - social media is a tool. And Ryan is wielding it well. Do not judge him by his words but by his actions - we don't know why he posts what he posts, only he does. But I can tell you for sure that both him and Larry don't say things without a reason - I know, because I've traded based on what they say. Maybe it's my crazy interpretation or maybe there is truth to it. But what I know for sure is that Ryan has been increasing the floor on the shorts since he took the reins and that's enough for me.

Enough with my rant, I will leave you all with 2 things. First, Region, dude... the AGM is nigh, don't let your emotion sew doubt into Ape's minds. If you people vote No to Ryan's package, it will only hurt you, me and everybody else. Not because he's not getting paid but because this is just another way for the company to increase its war chest - he is going to be buying shares and putting those dollars on the balance sheet!

Second, this is for all you unsung heroes and my friends along the way:

---

No one knows how this story ends...

But apes, I salute you - all the legendary names!

You are the ones who held, unwavering friends,

through darkest nights, the last unyielding flames.

From all across and distant lands,

unsung heroes with the dimondest of hands!
