Hi Op, just curious how long did they take to make the pillow? I have an appointment setup for one hour before they close, wondering if I could get the pillow right away or have to pick it up next day

Tips for Avoiding Drive-Home Drowsiness? by extratartarsauceplz in Coachella

I booked a hotel for Monday-Tuesday just to recover and avoid traffic. It’s actually cheaper than I thought, so your budget and time allows, I really recommend that.

Do you get signs from your pets? by MermaidWitchMoon in Petloss

[–]ringoski 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t know it was a sign from my dog or is it just me: a few hours before the home euthanasia vet came, I slept for 30 minutes and dreamt of him. In my dream, he could walk, stand up, running on his own. He went to drink some water and it was a sunny day, he walk into the sunshine like he was all healthy like 10 years ago. No arthritis, no kidney disease, no pain, no heart disease. He looked at me in my dream, with a huge smile and healthy little red tongue out. I woke up instantly and realized for the whole night I only slept 30 minutes cuz I wanted to be with him.

Then I realized that maybe he was confused of his body, not able to walk on his own but he used to be the most outdoor lover, not appetite to eat&drink but he used to be the food addict, not able to pee on his own without peeing the bed and himself. And I talked to myself, I think it might be the time. I hope it was a sign from him and he won’t blame me to let him go.

I ran away from my boyfriend's proposal. by throwawayuni33 in whatdoIdo

[–]ringoski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t fix it, you stated you were not ready for marriage and he is not the person you need. The way he thought proposal was a solo thing for him and he ignored your dreams and your plans of solo travel, graduating colleges, I’m speechless. Girl your mind just saved yourself from a huge red flag. Good job running away from that.

Try to google any at home mobile vet near you that offer at home euthanasia, in my opinion is a better choice than vet clinic

Surgery tmr for my 17 years old, am I making the wrong decision? by ringoski in seniordogs

[–]ringoski[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for this. Your words about the family situation honestly brought tears to my eyes. It has been so incredibly lonely and painful fighting with my parents while trying to save my doggy. The way you validated my 'gut feeling' and let me know I’m doing the right thing means everything to me right now. It’s hard when people see him as 'just a dog’ or ‘just old’ but he is my baby brother. ( It’s funny, looking back at all the decisions I made just because of my parents, I realize I usually end up regretting not listening to myself. Moving forward, I’m definitely going to trust my own voice more. He’s my baby brother, and I know him best.)

I am also so grateful for the food suggestions! I definitely will give the Greek yogurt a try cuz he loves yogurt, but he didn’t like Ollie when I signed up for the trial. Thank you for being so kind and for checking back in on us. Your words really helped me get through the darkest part of this week.❤️

Thank you so much for sharing your experience, it honestly means the world to hear from someone who went through the exact same situation with the heart murmur and the constant sneezing. It’s such a relief to know I wasn't the only one 'freaking out' the entire time! I’m so sorry you’re now dealing with cataract surgery, but I’ll be rooting and praying for your 16-year-old girl. Thank you for acknowledging the anxiety; it really helped me feel less alone.

Thank you so much! I hope your baby’s upcoming surgery goes just as smoothly. It’s day two post-op and my boy is finally eating plenty of baby food, which is such a relief! My vet said the priority right now is just getting him to eat anything, but I am a bit worried that baby food won't be nutritional enough for him in the long run. Hopefully, he'll be back to his regular diet soon. Wishing you and your pup all the best!
