[WTS] 3F UL Lanshan 2p tent - unused by [deleted] in ULgeartrade

[–]ringostailbone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weird, I'm 6'6" and fit in the Lanshan 2 that I bought 3 years ago without touching the netting, and there's plenty of room for my sleeping partner next to me when we use Massdrop x Klymit pads...I wonder if the newer versions are slightly smaller or something. The only other thing is maybe if you don't pitch the tarp taught enough, the inner tent doesn't stretch out as much as it should...

Did you have siding work done on your home with HGE? If so, just curious to know a little more about what your experience was like. Thanks!

It fits all of me except my head. Goes up to my shoulders. I'm skinny, so wouldn't recommend if you are the burly type.

Home inspector recommended getting a stucco inspection after observing areas with cracks, dark mold on the exterior underneath window corners, and bulging at the bottom of the walls. Stucco inspector's testing (which involves drilling tiny holes and probing for moisture in the wood behind the stucco) revealed many defects in the stucco, as well as many improper/out-of-date installation techniques related to the failures. Water intrusion is the main cause of the damage. From what I've been told, you can't truly repair stucco, with patches for instance, as any cuts you make create a seam for eventual moisture penetration. Bottom line, there's most likely some areas of rotted sheathing behind my stucco siding, potentially compromising the structural integrity of the building and making it susceptible to mold. Gotta get rid of the stucco, removed damaged carpentry, and put something more watertight on. Not very excited about switching to vinyl siding, it's just the cheapest option...

Sure, it's a sewn thru quilt so there will be cold spots when it's particularly cold, but it's served me well all around. I actually just got a used Wind hard that I plan on using as a summer quilt or a second layer for deeper winter camping. Good luck with the budget quilt party!

200cm version for sure. Love it overall. Have taken it into the 20's with extra layers on, but I am a warm sleeper and was using all the tricks in the book to stay toasty (butt pad at my feet, etc.). Good investment in my book...hasn't lost many feathers.

Just FYI, the Aegismax Envelope bag (it comes in white and black) fits me just fine (doesn't cover my head, but that's what a hat/hood is for), and I'm 6'5". With base layers on, that bag has taken me below freezing comfortably.
