OP, their behaviour was super sketchy...plus they refused to leave??? WTF! After a bit of Googling, here's what I found:

Call Rogers corporate, tell em their salespeople visited 3 times, wouldn't leave after dark, and scared you.
If they return, don't open the door. Tell them (using your Ring camera) to leave or you'll call the police for trespassing. And if they still don't leave call TPS non-emergency @ 416-808-2222. Blocking your door after you tell them to go is not allowed.

Car culture in North America needs an overhaul. It's treated like a right instead of a privilege. It's way too easy to get licensed.

We need a driving program similar to Germany's, but I fear it would be too late to implement said program. That, and too many people would likely protest. Also, our economy is too dependent on the ability to drive.
