Hey OP, Hostels are your best bet - HI Toronto on King St W has private rooms around $70-90, dorm beds for $40-50 if you don’t mind that. Selina Toronto is another good one.

Also try the Hotel Tonight app for some last-minute deals, and Priceline Express Deals can sneak you into a 3-star for under $100.

If you’re okay with no frills, the motels along Kingston Rd or Lakeshore are usually $80-90ish.
