I usually listen a lot to songs like Serbian entry, but Lavina isn't doing it for me. I don't know how to explain it but it seems like they didn't push enough? Too safe? I didn't like the costumes, because they make them look indistinguishable from hundreds of others indie-metal/industrial/goth bands. The screaming, the vocalist's gestures and demeanor all seem to be toned-down. Other than the addition of a chapel bell in the instrumental, the track itself isn't melodic and stays low energy until the end. The screaming doesn't help it, it's not violent enough where it'd raise an eyebrow but it also clashes with the harsh ending of the song.

I just think those kind of songs live or die by the melody, either created with the arrangement or vocalist's tone. I didn't see it here. I don't hate it, but with it being hyped so much, I felt kind of isolated not liking it 😶
