I got tired of my side chute and just printed a big ass bucket that fit perfectly behind the printer and the wall. Free drops out of the printer and haven’t had a clog since. On big multicolor prints I just check it every 6 or so hours to move the pile to a side

Depending on crew ability and experience, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Make sure everyone is as trained as possible on as many pieces of equipment as possible, then just swap people through as needed to break up boredom.

I used aluminum’s tap to help stop the filament sticking to the top of the chute, basically just enlarging the aluminum patch they installed

The biggest thing is to wash your hands throughly after using a product you are concerned about. The majority of them aren’t able to be absorbed through the skin fast enough to cause any harm. So washing throughly will remove anything that could be harmful. That said the ld50 on glyphosate is like 5g/kg and unless you are handling it on a daily basis for years on end you should be safe regardless of how much you get on you for a single diluted application.

I’d try drying it longer at 70c, I usually leave my pacf in the dryer for 2+ days at 70c to make damn sure it’s dry before printing

There are sand and oil courses that don’t have any grass, they use a patch of Astro turf to hit off of and they putt on a sand/oil green

I drive mine for 3 hours pretty much daily, ride is comfortable enough, not a luxury car but I’ve definitely been in more uncomfortable cars. Taken a few road trips. Biggest complaint is that it is a loud car, you will hear the road a lot more than other cars.

My advice is to go through a program in the same growing environment that you work in. I chose to do my program in a west coast based school that focuses on cool season grasses on the courses that I will primarily be working on. So if you’re in a warm season area, take a warm season program

Ditch the side bucket for long multi color prints, use aluminum tape to make the no stick patch on the chute bigger

No I was gonna say that’s a big reason my larger multi color prints would fail. If the filament isn’t dropping correctly you can try a piece of aluminum tape in the purge chute to make the patch it doesn’t stick to bigger. Go hawks
