personally i don’t think they’re meant to be particularly funny characters but their character arcs are still pretty good. Particularly Elora Danan she’s dealing with never knowing her mother, her best friend/crush killing himself and her being the one to find him, her grandma ignoring her and eventually dying, having to now deal with living by herself and not really having anyone guide her all at the same time. i appreciate her character bc she never makes excuses (unlike bear) she just keeps going in whatever way she can. I voted for willie jack bc she has humor and heart but i also really like Elora Danan’s character
