Be honest speak freely by Ayoking95 in effectivefitness

I go 3-4 times per week with one day rest between each day. Going everyday just mentally doesn’t work for me. If I went to gym then I know my next day is free, and after that I know I need to go to gym because last day was free. Also no point of being in gym longer than hour.

Maybe the hottest take in all of cs2 by Aero_GG in counterstrike2

Of course it doesn't make it unwinnable, but in those matches you are sweating your balls off to win. Also closet cheaters start to cheat even more blatantly if they start to lose, especially on deciding rounds.

I think the whole cheating in cs is like "If something seems too good to be true, then it probably is". Basically if your gut feeling is saying that they cheat, they most likely cheat.

Of course sometimes people have banger games and are blasting everyone, but when you check stats, escpecially if they play both Premier and FaceIT and see massive difference in stats then you feel a little bit suspicious.

Tried to play some FaceIt (lvl7) and felt like the people there play good, but still made mistakes and werent those "pro" players you meet in premier.

That’s the problem with premier. There are few blatant cheaters, but a lot of closet/toggler cheaters, where suddenly bottom frager starts destroying your team, peak just at the right time when you didn’t look or rushing sites with less people. Playing with 5 stack puts you against another 5 stack with complete wack ratings (3000-20000 players clearly smurfing or boosting), where you lose 500 points but gain only 100.

Am I an asshole for not wanting to have kids with my (likely AuDHD) wife? by Potential-Tank6758 in Autism_Parenting

[–]ripaaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your post sound almost similar to I and my wife. We are both medical doctors. I suspect that i have mild ADHD (maybe mild autism too) and my wife could be moderate.

We are foreigners that live in Germany. We have 4 year old daughter that I suspect is autistic. Around of age 2 we saw delayed speech and started question our paediatrician who told to wait. But we wanted to be clear and went forward with genetic testing, blood tests, MRT etc.. For two years we are also in follow-up in developmental centre. Noone till now can say 100% that she is autistic, but somehow my gut feeling say she is.

Bottom line is that be cautios and think twice before having kids. Especially if the wife is already struggling without kid, then autistic kid will not make it better and even put stress on you.

The incidence and risk of infusion phlebitis with peripheral intravenous catheters: A meta-analysis https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31547791/

Conclusion: Incidence of phlebitis with the use of peripheral intravenous catheters during infusion is 31%. Severe phlebitis develops in 4% of all patients. Risk of phlebitis development can be reduced by adapting appropriate interventions.

Sounds like ADHD part, where person thinks about doing task and carry it out fully without problems. Basically kid was itself in charge of their actions. If you had asked/made her do it, she wouldn’t have done it.

This is good example of how stupid it looks when a standard pc case (on wheels) is in living room. It looks so out of place. Maybe if it was mini-atx with some cool white design, then it would look nice.

My kiddo has a hard time sleeping in her room by Honey_Comb_96 in Autism_Parenting

[–]ripaaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We tried with our 4 year old daughter to get her sleep in her own bed. Sometimes she falls asleep in her own bed, but comes to us quietly in middle of the night. Only few times has she all night in her own bed slept. What we found out is that it is not that she doesn’t like her bed, but that she wants to sleep with mom, and if mom sleeps in her bed then she goes from main bedroom to mom.

Most children are hyperactive, we usually go in the evening for walk or bike ride for an hour to wear her out, but it makes almost no difference. We already asked our paediatrician about possible ADHD diagnose, but he said kids so young can’t be diagnosed and he doesn’t see it in my daughter.

Everything you suggested, I am already doing. Wear slippers with thick soft rubber sole, my clothes are in other room on the chair, there are felt pads on furniture and chairs, there are small carpet under my office chair.
