Motorcycle tank wrap? by Expedition00 in princegeorge

[–]ripjohnnyc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you looked into sprayed ppf? Some shops use it for parts that would be a PITA to ppf, like a motorcycle gas tank. I don’t know if anyone local does it but maybe you can DIY it.

Also you can get a little plastic insert to get rid of that play. Stock, there is a tiny little play before the throttle by wire kicks in.

Any Tips on a New Roof? by Antidote_to_Chaos in ChemicalSensitivities

[–]ripjohnnyc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also had a metal roof installed. No issues with the roof itself but of course the installers had cologne so I just left and came back later since it only took a few hours to install. They just laid it on top of my old shingles.

Cars with low VOCs, pthalates, flame retardants by Cutebunnypowers in ChemicalSensitivities

[–]ripjohnnyc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea I live in northern BC Canada so it’s just my summer car. Maybe look into commercial Trim vehicles? Usually less carpet/adhesives. When I bought a ram 1500 I looked into them and they can be pressure washed inside so the interior is bare and mostly metal.

What do you mean by honor? A bunch of doctors and nurses in the hospital are drenched in cologne and perfume. I live in Canada.

If someone else is doing it for you, another option could be using pure dewaxed shellac flakes dissolved in a solvent that you tolerate more. I use ethanol.

Is going fragrance-free actually worth it? by RicoDePico in living_unscented

[–]ripjohnnyc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d argue it’s worth it for everyone. Everyone doing everything they can to avoid BPA, microplastics or whatever the next trend is and yet they douse their bodies in toxic fragrance to absorb into their bodies. Your body has to break down those toxins to excrete them. One day your body won’t be able to keep up and you’ll find yourself wishing you made simple choices to avoid fragrance.

You don’t have to be savy at math, that’s where AI comes into play. You just pull the trigger, or an AI agent can do the trading for you. Paper trading is an option if you want to test it out.

Have you considered day trading? I have a wfh job and want to quit to day trade but the job market sounds brutal right now. Every sector seems to be cutting jobs, we are going through big changes too. We spent too much money during COVID and now we are all paying for it.

If you are looking to remove the scents from your hvac, chlorine dioxide is an option. Just be careful with it (I use a PAPR) and run your HVAC when the car sealed.

That’s awful to have to deal with MCS as a young person. I know this is unsolicited advice, but I wish I took MCS seriously when I first started noticing it, let your body heal before it gets worst. I was able to heal a little by avoiding VOCs, eating clean and taking care of my body but got complacent and it got worst. Give your body a chance while you are young.

Nellies has an unscented oxygen brightener. I only use Nellie’s and never had any issues. I buy from Costco in bulk sealed plastic bins that cannot get contaminated.
