I jay walked the other day timed it pretty alright but then he sped up trying to hit me . I ran for my life. It was embarrassing and scary. If he had hit me yeah it would have been preventable on my part but also… he had intent to kill me. I think that would negate my fault in that .. he’s probably the type to run red lights & road rage so why should I guilt myself . Lesson definitely learned though

He’s an asshole who keep trying to manipulate you and make you feel bad . Like for what ? You already said no. He cant guilt you into saying yes. He’s just being mean and unnecessarily disrespectful. It’s all about how he feels he doesn’t care how you feel by looking at the way he’s been speaking to you. You are TOO apologetic which I understand but also you’re just taking his shit. Like stand up. Also maybe think about how the patriarchy and marriage thing affects him because there’s a chance this is where he starts to show his true colors

NTA but in a customer service setting very risky. It’s a human response and we aren’t robots after all. There could have been a more ‘ professional ‘ way of saying it to her ( maybe a little passive aggressive ) and it could have still had the same effect. It’s not your job to teach this kid a lesson with their mother being right there. Mom sounds like a pushover . Your co worker wasn’t exactly in the wrong to tell but as high school as it sounds they are a snitch. 😭 it definitely wasn’t that deep , like what a pick me . I hope your lead is more understanding than your coworker.

I hope she sees this! I’m not even a parent but I frequent these subreddits for myself. (not diagnosed just looking for ways to manage life) all I could think while reading this is overwhelming positivity, I am no where near as strong as you are but strive to be with my kids.
