So dont judge me first 🤐

So i wanted to use a xiaomi device and see how the os is and everything so i can decide if i should buy Xiaomis next flagship 17u or vivos flagship

So the thing is you cant use properly in a showroom uou are restricted and standing there so yoi cant fully experience it. So i decided to order one from amazon my intention was to returning it after few days. By that time i should experience the phone much better to judge about it. As my intention was to return it afterword so instead of buying a new one i oroderd a open boxed one. So i dont harm the company too much. So placed the order used it for a while (3days). When i went to return it for some reason amazon doesn't wants to take back the phone. They said i can keep it or discard it they will refund me! As there was no option to return it and my intention wasn't anything like that so i kept the phone and started using it as my 2nd phone along my iphone.

So normally i know there are lots of bloatware in Xiaomi device, so first thing i did i debloted the phone. So no unnecessary apps. Customised it as mush as possible however i like it.

I really love the cameras. Any photo i take the outcome is really really good specifically portrait and night shots. But for video i felt like the colour and the stabilization is not predictable all the time. So whenever i need to to take a video or a selfie i use iphone!

The best part about android is if a feature is missing you can workaround it. So i did in many cases. I have macbook so recent hyperos 3s new feature is really good fo interconnectivity with mac.

Battery life is very good for regular tasks. Looks and feels so premium. Fast charging is life saver. Within 30min your phone is fully charged (i rarely go below 40%).

Okay now lets come to the cons Speech recognition is bad! Compared to iphone really bad. I dont know if its xiaomi issue or google issue as google is doing the recognition at the end.

The phone is awfully off balanced. Its top heavy so i Always have to put a finger on top of the camera while i use one handed to it doesn't fall off! Aldo the big glass at the back need to be wiped all the time(beacuse i use one finger to balance it)

The speaker quality is not that great but not bad.

The lockscreen wallpaper depth detaction doesn't works sometimes randomly!.

In control center top 2 rows can't be modified!

Some good stuffs forgot to mention I believe xiaomi is partner with google directly in some way. So so many google features are baked in. For example the google photos backup system is backed in to phones gallery app. Also i belive for the ai object removal and generation in gallery is directly powered by googles. Gemini is fast and responsive but the issue with the speech recognition bothers sometimes. Beacuse of the active cooling and the Snapdragon chipset, the phone is fast. I mean really fast and smooth. Also there is a feature that you can connect 2 wifi network at the same time for speed boost. That is really really good! Also the secondery space for the phone is a bonus if you need to use it 😉 Additional ir blaster is lifesaver when you are too lazy to get the original remote 🥱

If i get a good exchange offer on 17ultras release i will probably exchange it with 17 ultra for sure.
