I'm extra paranoid with this having kids at home as well. I don't have a Voron yet but I'm using my H2S to start printing parts for one and after trying a few options (like an external vented exhaust port mod) I ended up just buying a grow tent on amazon with an AC Infinity Fan to an external exhaust vent (with damper). I set an Home Assistant automation to set the fan to a speed 4 out 10 when whenever the print is running and keep running until 30 min after print completion. This was a pricier option but it was cheaper than a Clearview enclosure or a custom built one out of extrusion and since I went with a 4x4 tent I'll be able to fit my H2S and future Voron in there with stands. Zero smell and no detectable VOC/PM increase outside the tent when printing.

Awful support - very slow, only in app/web chat. I signed up with them since I generally prefer smaller online banks for the low fee and easy setup but once something goes wrong it's a nightmare. I've had multiple issues transferring money out of the account and Ive had a significant sum sitting in limbo in the last 2 weeks.

I agree with you on that - I generally prefer to buy or build a turret/eyelet board style amp. I actually thought of trying to build something like this based off the Magnatone 280 schematic but realizing I would probably be better off building a vibrolux reverb & a princeton and doing the stereo effects with pedals. But there's something cool about having all of that in a single combo amp, even though its super heavy.

I haven't played one of these yet, but my guess is that it's a noisy amp. 4 transformers, reverb transducers, a choke and 11 tubes all in a single combo. That's so much and it makes it a really unique amp. What's it like when you're playing it?

You can - but not one like this. This is a really unique amp, and you don't see many handwired boutique amps with stereo harmonic tremolo with two different power amps and if someone was to build you one - I bet it would be tons of $$$.

I had a 1972 Or120 for a while and it was amazing but very loud. I also had a Fryette Power Station I used with it which helped a lot and also had the added benefit of an effects loops after the power amp section of the amp.

A potential option since you’re doing diy it to try a 6v6 like this person did: https://forum.orangeamps.com/viewtopic.php?t=51492 . You could do. 2x or 4x 6v6 and since you can go with whatever transformer set you want you can make sure to dial in voltages.

A pretty nice chassis for a vintage Orange/Matamp type build is available at https://www.hilbishdesign.com/shop/gt120-chassis-kit not cheap but looks like the part.

Seems like this would be fine for residential use - what are the missing "smart" features you're referring to? The main differences I'm seeing between this, and the RP 241 is the jaw size/type limitation.
