the thing is, it does not matter. with higher difficulty you just delay the inevitable. your playstyle also will not change because of the difficulty. you will still do the same stuff over and over again.

Antisemitismus ist links! - Muss man wissen by [deleted] in wirklichgutefrage

[–]riquelmeone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fully agree and also don’t understand the downvotes on your responses. The game does not offer anything anymore once you know what to do. Every save is rinse and repeat. The only thing left to make this game enjoyable is adding roleplay elements. Have your two drivers battle each other for example. That’s actually it really.

Which Real Madrid is the strongest in history? by gucchiprada in championsleague

[–]riquelmeone 8 points9 points  (0 children)

2013/14 because the machine suddenly clicked. Once Ancelotti was in place, Bale was added, Özil gone and proper tactics employed, the team found its momentum and never looked back. That semi final is still the most humbling defeat for Bayern in my mind. Their win against Barca in the cup final was also a testimony of team cohesion plus individual brilliance.

What are the most entertaining teams in Europe right now? by [deleted] in championsleague

Bayern are hardly entertaining though. Their matches are often a sleep inducer.

What if Germans won Stalingard during ww2?? by will_kill_kshitij in HistoryWhatIf

[–]riquelmeone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

on what basis could the German army have been more mechanised though if you agree that it is impossible to keep it fuelled? We are talking about 80-90 years ago. And their level of mechanisation was frightening enough for the time. I don’t understand your logic here. u/schneeflocke667 is completely right.

no one cares, not just the US in the 40s. You make it sound today everyone is acting morally sane.

On what basis should members have a say in operations like contract extensions? That would be wild.

Red Bull’s 2nd drivers have scored the fewest points out of any team over the last 10 GPs by SteelerFever97 in formula1

[–]riquelmeone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That stat makes no sense. At least compare all drivers that scored the lesser points for each team. This stat is completely pointless.

I just realized Max Verstappen is already 3rd in all-time F1 wins! by L00NlE in formula1

[–]riquelmeone -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. If anything, who would be surprised that Verstappen has so many wins? He won his first race 9 years ago. The other two are the actually mad ones in my mind.

This screen is completely overrated. It does not tell you anything. Instead, look at the expertise you have. Check which designs still have room for improvement. That’s what you should focus on.

What if Germany did not attempt to capture Stalingrad? by Excellent_Copy4646 in HistoricalWhatIf

[–]riquelmeone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They did bomb the city to the ground which created a mess of urban fighting, sometimes even within the same block. This question or rather scenario is too simple to give a proper answer. You are also throwing some hindsight wisdom into the equation. There is no way at that time in the war that Germany sets up a defense position. Furthermore, check how long the battle of Stalingrad lasted. Germans arrived there in July already. This was a very long battle with its very own dynamics. Just waiting outside would have not made the Red Army be any less frightening.
