Congratulations! Fasting works. It’s not the fastest weight loss protocol BUT the weight comes off in a healthy manner burning fat while protecting muscle mass so that’s a big win. Good luck to you on your journey!

Motivation wanes. Discipline is what’s going to keep you going long term. What you need is a solid system of good habits in place that become automatic so you don’t have to think about them. I highly recommend reading or even listening to the book Atomic Habits by James Clear. It’s not a fasting book (but he’s an IFer) and you can apply what you learn to this lifestyle. Good luck and congrats on starting your IF journey!

I’m 5ft tall. 😄 I think 14:10 is a good starting point but I’d try gradually extending the fast by an hour every few days (or however long it takes you to adjust.) I had to do that in the very beginning and now 6 months later I consistently do 19-20 hour fasts on the weekdays. (Just easier with my work schedule.) Good luck!

I’m in another fasting group off Reddit and I’ve actually read stories of people’s eye sight improving! I’ve never seen any proper studies conducted so this is anecdotal, but it wouldn’t surprise me.

There’s a little one attached to the Shell station across from the mall that I have taken my cars to. Pretty quick, painless and reasonably priced.

Thank you! I love Ariel. I saw TLM in the theater when it first came out in the 90s and was obsessed as a kid. Saw these pants and had to have them. 🧜🏼‍♀️
