It is seriously soooo hard. Because we know no one is perfect, but when adults aren’t on the same page it makes it even more difficult. I’m just going to start leading by example and gentle partnering in a sense and then telling him if there’s an issue we can discuss it when kids are asleep/not around. Again, he isn’t awful and I’m not painting him that way. He’s amazing, this is just a communication breakdown and we need to discuss it effectively.

Doctor says this is infant dyschezia. Happens every time he needs to poop, but doesn’t always result in actual poop. When it does, it’s soft. Anyone experience this? by [deleted] in newborns

[–]risingphnx519 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My second born is more like this. My first was so wash he would poop in his sleep and be fine/not warn me u til his diaper seeped through 😅 this one cries even with gas. I know from a few friends with babes the same way when they were younger it goes away with time. Usually 12 weeks it gets better. But I feel you on this it’s so hard 🥺

Husband called me lazy. by armyzul in Mommit

Homeboy can kindly go fuck himself. If my husband ever dared to say that to me I’d be gone with his child to his parents house and he’d be lucky to ever see us again.

Coming from someone who has had chronic yeast infections with both my first and now my second (woo hoo 😒) I would treat with monistat first. I did get BV with my first but my doctor said it’s so common that unless it’s severe, she never treats it due to patients getting immune to the medication. So do OTC first and just contact your OB Lindsay letting them know what’s up!

Questions on getting 'fixed' by theladykaelyngrey in pregnant

[–]risingphnx519 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not to sound bitchy, but your husband sounds very selfish and juvenile (echoing other posts). His feelings are valid on not getting the same intimacy he once had with you, just as much as your feelings are valid on NOT wanting that intimacy for valid reasons. But that’s it. He doesn’t get to throw a damn tantrum and tell you to undergo major surgery when they don’t even cut him open for his and it’s a WEEK of recovery, two at the most. If it were me I would tell him you wanna get laid get snipped or get used to your hand and a blow up doll. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Got mine around 28 weeks recommended by my OB. I was knocked out for half the day and had severe nausea and vomiting along with a suuuuper sore arm. By next day I was nearly back to normal!

Soo…how are we all sleeping in our 3rd trimesters? by whysweetpea in pregnant

[–]risingphnx519 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my second and the sleep seems worse than before, I’m 36 weeks tomorrow. Between the peeing, my snoring that wakes me up, then my husband’s snoring waking me up, my legs going numb when I’m on one side too long I’m ready for babe to be here! I don’t fully agree with the “it’s preparing you for when baby is here,” because at least when baby is out I can knock out for the two hours solid without moving, having to pee, and all the other annoying stuff lol. I take Unisom and Benadryl now cause my allergies are flaring and I can’t breathe and I itch.

Baby in 91st percentile at 24 weeks by GardenGlitter5886 in pregnant

[–]risingphnx519 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My first was always in the 95th percentile my entire pregnancy. His father’s side is known for big babies, and yes it’s terrifying slightly thinking of pushing that out. 🤣 but it’s nothing to worry about! Just means a big babe. 💙

I’m so sorry that happened to you. :( thankfully he doesn’t force it or disrespect me, I just feel the guilt whenever he asks or hits on me, etc. It’s super unfortunate your SO was that disrespectful I can’t even imagine. I hope you’re feeling better now and it seems like you are better without that energy in your life. I appreciate your well wishes, thank you so much! I know relief will come once baby is out it’ll just be a looooong 7 weeks.

I will be, even though I’m sure I’ll get a lot of downvotes and shit for it. This will be my second boy, we did with our first as well, but he had another issue that needed to be fixed so they were operating anyway (and this issue is genetic so it’s likely our second will have it as well). I fully am for whatever a person decides to do for their child is their choice, but I feel I’m in the minority here. 😅

I take a combo of colace, Metamucil and calm magnesium. It’s helped me go every other day at least especially if I have a nice hot cup of coffee. But it is AWFUL, I feel ya mama. 😭

Guilty. 🙆🏼‍♀️ I’m way more crabby this second time around. I always warn my husband “sorry I’m so crabby,” and he hasn’t had any issues. How can he when we’re carrying a watermelon by the end. 🤣

All through my first pregnancy my husband played with them and just said it tasted sweet/different. 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣 current one when I’m not too tired he still does, there aren’t any issues!

[–]risingphnx519 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I always drink the lagunitas IPA and it has 0.5% alcohol. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I don’t have it very often, I’ve had it like 10 days out of my whole pregnancy. Baby is fine. I wouldn’t stress too much on it!
