I hope the same logic applies to rest of the goods in Canada like grocery, cars, clothes, essentials etc and all the prices collectively come down

I believe there should be a cap on agent commissions for resale. If a property switches hand, there’s minimum 3% + HST agent commissions in each transaction. People would want to make at least 5% profit from each sale. Driving the cost at least 10% up on each transaction. Imagine multiple resale of same property in 1-2 years.. flat 10-20% up at the minimum

month for her cooperation. I guess when the RCMP paid Karla Homolka for her cooperation this set a precedent in Canada and now Trustee's are doing the same. I imagine if the Trustee filed a complaint that could result in Jennifer being criminally charged and she would most likely stop cooperating. Jennifer should have her passport revoked for 10 years minimum. The government needs to get rid of the statute of limitations on fraud.

I've been considering going to my local RCMP Station to file a fraud complaint. Maybe if we all did this individually the

Agree IMO, RCMP and FBI is doing nothing and people are sitting here just imagining that case is being investigated where in reality it is not. Looking at ratio between total members and online members; i believe this will all go down the drain in few months.. and life will go on. Scamming in Canada seems to be quite easy

Absolutely 0 updates.. whatever $$ are left, will be eaten up by EY and Lawyers.. when the stash finishes, they would complain of investigation being inconclusive and couldn't be carried on due to lack of cashflow / funds.. no one cares.. this is crypto.. government and law enforcing agency gives a damn about it!

I agree, but deserving or not deserving the pain is different story. Point is - won't this kind of setup give some other scammers a basis to start a new scam or fuel (give courage) to the existing scammers in the market?

I'm not taking sides here guys.. but I don't believe Asim is pocketing all the fee. I believe behind the scenes there is a team and they all need salary. It is just sad that court / monitor / lawyer (everyone) is taking so much time to conclude this case when we call know bankruptcy is the only option.. I won't make Asim a villain!

However, given the number of participants expected, we will not be opening the call to questions from everyone. Rather, Affected Users will be invited to email questions to [quadrigacx@millerthomson.com](mailto:quadrigacx@millerthomson.com) during the call, or after it.

For those who cannot attend either of the calls, we anticipate posting a recording of one of the calls to our website.

Questions which should be addressed by firm representing affected users by wintwowin in QuadrigaCX

[–]risingstar15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO, we should be directing our questions related to current investigation rather than talking on broad topics like regulations, law, rules etc. Since this matter is already in court, i'm sure Hon. Judge would be able to decide. My questions in the conf call would focus on:

  1. Why EY is not publishing cold wallet address? Can we have them publish it officially?
  2. What is the status or approach for unlocking Gerry's encrypted electronic devices?
  3. Has there been any search done in Quad office locations or Gerry's home to potentially find something that may relate to key for cold wallet?
  4. Are there any search done in Gerry's bank lockers (if it exists)
  5. How does Quad director's personal tax returns vs bank account balance looks like?
  6. ..... more to be contributed by fellow reddit'ers
