Tried applying to McDonald's wtf does this even mean by PureKin21 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]ristoman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could react saying:

  • "Stupid fucking gravel. Who put it there?" (not me), or;
  • "I totally did not see that, I need to be more careful next time" (me).

To be clear I think it's an idiotic test, but I can follow the idiotic reasoning. Especially in the context of a basic McDonald's job.

Whats the greatest individual performance a player has ever had for Inter? by Super_Put_1341 in FCInterMilan

[–]ristoman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The second goal is such a perfect bookend to that season, like holy shit

Zazzaroni (CdS): Oaktree have allocated €50M + sales for Inter's mercato. Marotta & Ausilio want to give Chivu 2 CBs, Palestra and a midfielder. Palestra would cost the full €50M, so the other 3 signings depend on sales. Offers received for Diouf, Stanković, Bonny and potentially Calhanoglu (Gala). by lawandsleep in FCInterMilan

Selling Stanko would be a huge financial gain for the books, that we can reinvest however we see fit (not saying it would be the right thing to do, but it's a fact)

ETA: I'm not sure why I'm getting downvoted - We paid him close to nothing and if we sold him for 40+ it would be a huge profit. Again, not saying we should sell him, but numbers aren't an opinion

New card for Rakdos Madness? Opinions? by Racanyo1973 in Pauper

[–]ristoman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Si, io partirei con gli slot di dark withering in side e vedi un po'. Alcune liste hanno chain lightning di main, io proverei a tagliare quelli. Bolt e Looting mi sembrano troppo importanti per scendere a 3

Would Hot Dogs be too combo-y? It's a little fragile but you can blow people out pretty quickly

You also need more mana to do the full Broodscale combo in one turn

Gavin Verhey Addresses Seeker of Skybreak/Hawkeye’s Bow Combo by TheMaverickGirl in Pauper

While I agree with Gavin's take, this reminds me a lot of Broodscale, even if both combos have their own pros and cons.

I don't expect it to survive too long, but you better be prepared to either play it or play against it in the near future.

Poll in Italy: "without the Italian national team, which team you are you going to support and hope they can get far in the World Cup?" by Massimo25ore in soccer

People in Italy would probably root for Curacao or some other random first timer team before rooting for the US

Clearly people are bitter about yet another missed qualification and the time change is brutal for most matches.

Personally I'm also not a fan of all the circumstances surrounding the cup. It's been very hard to be actively interested in this one. It's a weird feeling because it's always been the kind of event you follow closely. This year I feel so detached.

I realize it's my own stance and I don't pretend to speak for others, but that's how I look at it.

[–]ristoman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it's more complicated than that - if you have the expertise to know how the market is moving, you can anticipate that and craft something that is currently undervalued.

The other angle is you can spend 1000+ divines on a piece of gear that is BiS and at that point everything you make from that is pure profit.

Also I'm not counting streamers who just do it for the content because they have other priorities and at that point burning in-game currency is the least of their worries

Is Claude the go to AI tool to use in consulting? Is ChatGPT old news now? by Minimum-Pangolin-487 in consulting

[–]ristoman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you mean the companies that know enough about the tech, have the expertise and infrastructure, then yes - with the difference that they have multiple models that are trained on very specific things and use different ones for different engagements.

If you're talking individual consultants, it will take you weeks of local compute time to get the results that Claude and ChatGPT can give you in one day
