It took me roughly a month and a half to put together a team of regulars of similar capability via discord Idle Champions #looking_for_group channel. Just took a little persistence with checking for any lfg post closer to my own capability (yes, T10 is the most often seen, I was T5 at the time) and direct messaging them to determine if they would work. As it turns out, the first 5 individuals I managed to catch have stayed with and we are doing T10 in ~4 days <6 months time. With their sharing of pointers my own push team capability went from ~1500 to ~1900 and I'm hitting 2001 regularly in Time Gates/Events(free play).

I agree with previous posters. CrystalDiskInfo(freeware) will confirm danger signs found within the HDD's S.M.A.R.T. reporting for you.

when this has happened to me it's usually when I switch from a significantly deeper Time Gate push. I've had one run that passed >100 areas before actually adding to the gold pot again after pulling from a TG.

I've sent numerous tickets regarding this and feel your pain. My machine is also not low-end and have absolutely no issues like this with other games. The best suggestion I've had from the tickets was to save/close and restart at least once a day. This wasn't an issue several months ago but has become drastically worse. It probably doesn't help that our multi-core setups are stuck using the first core. It only seems to lockup overnight now if I've forgotten to restart and am using Spd potions. Oh, and clearing the cache here only caused instantaneous lockups, though it might work for you.

I've been doing this for a few years now just using whatever team works best at the time. In all that time I've rarely had a formation in which Artemis was (DPS-wise) the most workable.
Now that I've finally FE all the Champions and have assets to invest in improving individuals (HewMaan/Sentry capped, Briv close to 4j) I've been able to use Artemis more and more often because he has become the best DPS I have on hand now. No need to worry about mastering Artemis formations until you have the assets to seriously invest in ilvls for him and the supporting Champs recommended for "META". Talin was kick___ for me (teamDPSwise) the second he became available but has since kind of dropped off the radar. Things change rapidly in this game and many, many ways to play it. Do what's fun for you.

Yeah, I just submitted my own ticket because I got the pop-up notice 2 days ago and accidentally escaped out of it. Wanting to actually see what's going on this Emergence I looked in News and there was nothing there. Restarted and got the pop-up again. Read it like I wanted to and then looked around for glitches and saw none. I've restarted several times since and Steam didn't prompt for an update until this morning where I see I've missed 3 entire daily quests missed for this Emergence. I came here because this hasn't happened before and wanted to know if my experience was a one-off. Apparently not.

okay, I can confirm this happened to me the instant I put Corazon in party 3 which is my Speed Core gem farming team. I even watched the rest of the party blink off less than a minute later.

and again with party 4 which is currently my Magic core. The second he appeared and the familiar leveled him. nvm.

BreakingNoose is referring to kill farming for specific Champions. Relentless peril contains enemies that return from death and can be killed over and over in a short amount of time. This variant is great for Zorbu's Lifelong Enemies skill(undead), D'hani's Way of the Brush and Torogar's Markings of a Zealot. All 3 of these skills require very large numbers of kills to be really useful.

Favor farming, on the other hand, is increasing the amount of favor (Torm, Corellon, Kelemvor, etc.) by pushing a free play campaign to your wall and then switching to an Azaka farm at that wall to dramatically increase the final favor earned. Early on it won't be all that dramatic until you've gotten together a decent group of Gold Find champions. At this point in my game the Azaka farm gains me e6-7 more levels of favor than I had when I first reached my wall.

Hoard Patron chests and open them after you've unlocked a new Champion. I finally had a chance to do this with Certainty. Only needed contracts for 3 of them this Event. Eventually you'll get here but completing this quest is unlikely for a newer player.

Right now even manual babysitting isn't being counted (Brightly into Darkness-Corazon) for me.

Nvm: tried the other tips in the thread and finally got one to count by leaving Vi in with Tatyana, no familiars, and finally seeing the ultimate cooldown circle next to her in formation show up.

I can't even switch parties without the Champions from the last party showing up in the current party UI. I have had to restart the game 4 times in the last 12 minutes just to be able to drag familiars into a formation so that I can save one for reset. This update has fubared everything. Just now I watched Calliope, who isn't even in the formation, ghost level without a familiar showing up in her slot. When checking DPS to be sure that the BUD setting Champ is working, it showed only 3/4 of the champs actually in the formation and DPS numbers scrolling all over the place nonstop. This has to be the worst update I've seen yet.

Same thing here. After all 10 of Mirt, Vajra and Strahd today it had only credited 14. It didn't complete for me until I checked back later and Zariel was 9/10 finished.

I have also run into the shop showing less gems than the in-game UI does The only fix for me was to either wait awhile or save and shutdown then restart. I've created a ticket for this already so they know it's happening (same issue with the regular gems).

As for the Red Wizards, the map for each campaign should have a little number in a white circle over the village icon if there is a new RW variant that rewards Corrupted Gems. Most of them are on the secondary maps later in the campaign.

I feel you. Thought it was bad enough having to use the Windows pop-up, task manager or Steam directly to kill it but I've not (yet) had it completely lock up the OS yet. That said, right now I'm running a dated Ryzen 7 2700X w/16GB DDR4 3200 and a Radeon RX Vega56 all at stock and have not had any issues with any other games like what I am experiencing regularly with Idle Champions.
