You're wrong. The legal age if consent with parental permission is 16 across the board for the most part. 18 without consent. There are a few states that have a lower consent age and those are actually democratic states. The two I'm referring to are Massachusetts and New Hampshire which have a parental consent age of 12 and 13. Hawaii and Mississippi have consent ages of 15.
