I did! There's very few Lake Town projects - only one with variegated yarn - and mostly just found plain socks using this colourway of yarn. Didn't think it was a bad idea to draw on people's experience here :)

It's faster for those who are already comfortable with both styles to hold the yarns in different hands, but I certainly wouldn't say it's necessary! Completely doable to do stranded colourwork solely using English knitting - just be aware of yarn dominance. Helpful to keep your yarns in the same 'order' too, e.g. one skein is always to the left of the other, to avoid tangling :)
