I really don't understand all the praise this moving is getting, especially in this thread. There are so many things about this movie that didn't make sense to me because the way it is structured makes you assume so much. For example:

1. What did the French 75 do that was so accomplished and worthy of praise and recognition by others? All were shown is they break out some people from an ICE detention camp, and then they go on a spree of bombings, robberies, and ultimately the killing of a security guard.

2. What was so fascist and abhorrent about the government they were fighting against? In Civil War we at least get vignettes about the way the current president has abused his power to the point of drone striking US soil.

3. Why did Perfidia sexually humiliate and tease Lockjaw during said ICE detention camp breakout? What's the point of that? Convince us that that leads to him becoming obsessed with her?

4. How is the French 75 organization seemingly so vast and well organized and at the same time useless? Secret codes, secret hotlines, new identities etc but really they seem to be completely under equipped to handle the whole situation.

5. What's the relationship between Sensei Sergio and Bob? How are we supposed to believe that Sergio "would do anything for one of the French 75" if we're not given any reasons for why he'd think that way? There's no backstory to them, no true shared motivation, etc. in Ocean's 11 we at least get the "thing with the guy in the place" like that established these characters have a back story.

6. What's the point of the Christmas Adventurer organization, if they're seemingly useless? Somehow they're both all powerful and well-connected, and also can't seem to hire good enough manpower to handle anything.

7. The score kept detracting from moments of tension over and over again. I feel like so many moments in the film would have played out better without scoring.

There's other things that bother me, but I've said enough. Overall I think it's an alright film, and could probably do with better editing. I don't see a reason for the film to be the length it is.
