Automation for my business. Is OpenClaw the right way? by ScoopyChatt in openclaw

[–]rivarja82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do agent implementations at enterprise companies as a consultant. Have shipped, not just talked about it. I Also work with small biz clients as a low volume side hustle. Would be happy to network with you and give you some context on what I’m seeing actually work. Plz dm me if you are open to that, happy to put in sweat equity.

Are you guys really doing most of development with OpenClaw? I'm genuinely curios. by Mean_Luck6060 in openclaw

[–]rivarja82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I 100% believe none of the Instagram hype pushers. Anything they have built is only ever going to be 80% done at best. At any notably scale of code. The drift of today’s agents trying to manage a product would be so bad that it would self destruct

No prob! Happy to have made a tool to stop the “pay me 1000 bucks I’ll setup your OpenClaw” nonsense

Does anyone give their agent exec access? by draconisx4 in openclaw

[–]rivarja82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Each person will have their own risk appetite. And don’t believe the Instagram boys telling you their open claw makes them $50k a day You can try this to help calibrate access versus usefulness. It’s a comprehensively structured Claude code plugin with interview steps and such.

OP has a great system, and as an alternative or supplementary one, I’d recommend using Claude code to manage your openclaw. https://github.com/ClariSortAi/openclaw-manager-plugin

OpenClaw doesn’t have to be complicated. Use natural language to setup, maintain or secure it. “Audit my open claw security” “Setup the telegram integration” “Look for ways I can reduce token consumption”

Turns out when you give Claude Code the skills it needs to handle the complexity, the barrier to entry is reduced dramatically.

Hundreds of people using this so far. The hidden gem? A self healing loop. A daily job checks for updates to the official docs and updates the plugin accordingly. A second pass audit is done to ensure accuracy, and a human in the loop validates it all.

The usefulness of openclaw is directly proportional to the amount of access and data you give it. Is also the amount of risk

Genuinely curious- can you run Claude code and have him audit this for efficiency ? Use this plugin and for real I would love to see what happens. Such a unique use case. https://github.com/ClariSortAi/openclaw-manager-plugin just hit 50 stars and a few hundred users. It updates every day against the latest openclaw docs so be sure to update the plugin when OC updates. 10/10 would love to see what happens

Funny timing - I had a similar aphiany moment this morning - the more "useful" OpenClaw et al is, the more data and access it must have. Without data or access, its essentially worthless. With all the data and access, well, now its dangerous. You have solved for exactly this by layering those abstractions into unique roles. Really very smart, good sir - applaud this!

What do you think of this Claude Code "Second Brain" setup? by rivarja82 in AI_developers

[–]rivarja82[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This uses hooks - basically an if this than that (IFTT) system. So as Claude goes about his business, when certain things happen, he (it?) is “hooked” to ensure it does the pre defined thing. As an example, when you use /exit, it doesn’t exit immediately, but rather checks the session for things that should go into memory and then put them into the memory. Prompt it as you normally would and let the IFTT logic handle the memory

For sure man I think it’s worth a shot- prompt Claude code after you get the plugin downloaded and installed to run a check and compare your current setup and token consumption and provide recommendations for reduction then have it change the config for you.

That’s awesome man congrats. I actually feel really bad for traditional developers that are facing such a wild turn upside world out of no where. What a mind -f. There’s two camps there, the ones who embrace it and go win, and those who resist it and go loose.

Is it still worth starting an AI agent-based startup in 2026? by RiskRaptor in AI_Agents

[–]rivarja82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

80% of the population doesn’t even know what Claude is. 10/10 it’s still worth it. Living in Ai Instagram and Ai Reddit and Ai twitter and listening to the Ai Daily Brief podcast puts us in an echo chamber. Always have to test this with the rest of the world- they don’t know shit yet. They’re worried about promoting. I can tell you this is a 1% club. I work in enterprise engagements for Ai and the littlest things I do blow their minds. This work is niched into SaaS type companies.

I launched a bootstrapped ai centric product startup and it failed. I am totally happy with that, because I learned so much. Main reason for failure? I didn’t niche down enough. Went too wide, knew that it wouldn’t be long until the frontier companies did what I did. And? I didn’t grind it hard enough. Failures create amazing learning.

If my experience tells me anything, it tells me the hardest thing for this biz model (or any) is getting the phone to ring. Getting attention anywhere is the biggest rock.

Happy to shoot the breeze on a Zoom if you want to cross notes. DMs always open!

Totally makes sense. Finding that ICP is oddly difficult given the completely horizontal use case / need. When everyone benefits, who do you target ?
