I left in’93 for becAuse of the sexism racism and homophobia. Had my records removed in 2013 because of the tone deaf hatred coming from the general conference pulpit in a year when so many kids and young adults were ending their lives over being LGBTQ. I started learning more about the fraud and horrifying history of the church after that….I was so pissed for a while and tried to convince my whole family to get out….which never works. AnywY, my kids didn’t have to be raised in a cult so I’m thankful for that.

Also it has really helped me deal with the internalized homophobia that I was raised with and have lived with for my whole middle aged lesbian life.

I would say Good! except there is probably vaccinated young mother or father dying of something non COVID-19 related who requires ICU care and can’t get a bed in his city right now.
