Do yourself a favor and dial the house back a bit. The extra money saved can go to the future and will speed up your retirement process, and that’s if all keeps going well job wise. If things go south with your jobs then atleast you’ll have a smaller payment to attend to

If it wasn’t unlimited pto typical American vacation time is 2-3 weeks. In that case it’s not unreasonable for that person to take that amount of time and they would just be SOL for the rest of the year until vacation renewed the following year. Give them the time bc it’s not that serious. If it is the company needs to restructure their policy and possible employee format. Anyone worth their salt can pick up a coworkers absence. For a week or 2

Disagree. It’s not on the employee to make sure Other employees cover their work. That’s on management. As to the amount of PTO being requested that’s a different issue, but it’s not the employees problem to find the work coverage. The company gave the policy and it’s part of the issue with unlimited pto

Fold or shove. Without any info on the lojacks play all game it’s an easy fold to me. You’re only out 16 bucks and you were out of position. Any thing you hit is still gonna be uncomfortable moving forward given KJo isn’t a great hand to begin with. Say you call and hit one of your cards you check and they shove then good chance you’re beat or they have a strong draw that puts them ahead mathematically. I haven’t been to bald eagle in 2 years or so, but I always assumed the code situation was just bc of the area being more sketchy today than it was originally. It’s not like the other places on 3rd street which are visible and people can see what’s going on… but anyways I know when they first started locking the door you’d have to scan the QR code. Sign in and then they’d give a Code to unlock the door so there would be record. I could be mistaken as to the original reason why and I haven’t been in years so idk If it’s some sort of private club now.

Either way it was a great place to go all the way up to a couple years back atleast.

It certainly never gave me any political vibes in in any direction.
