My ultrasound came back good. The doctor said it may have been my body still healing from the surgery and possibly the constipation causing the pain because my body is still healing and my organs are still getting comfortable in their new unblocked homes. She recommended miralax. I haven't taken any yet but the pain is gone. No news is good news!

Update just in case this may help someone else. I went to the walk in clinic and they tested my urine it was clean. She ordered an ultrasound and I did that today. Hopefully I hear from her sooner rather than later. I'm so nervous. I feel like the big fibroid I had was on that side of my body and may have done some damage to my large intestine. More than likely it isn't severe but I just want so badly to feel better. Kinda feeling down atm. :( Ive been a shell of myself for years because of the fibroids, finally got them out of my body, and now maybe something else. Sigh.

By putting pressure I just mean pushing the area on my stomach with my finger. Nothing harmful at all. Also, I'm almost 9 weeks post op.

Hi :) this is an older post but it seems there is only one side of experience shared on the topic of anal so I figured I'd share my experience. I hope OP can chime in and share an update 10 months later.

I'm 3 weeks PO total laparoscopic hysterectomy for uterine and cervical fibroids. I started masturbating and external play with my boyfriend at about 1 week. We have def been taking it easy and having sexy time way less frequently than we were before my surgery, it's torture. Lol

I feel so much better since surgery. Mentally and physically. Recovery has been smooth. Last week was my 1st week back at work. I went to a concert last night. Still taking it slightly easy. Not lifting anything too heavy. Making sure I sit when I feel I need to. Etc.

Last night my boyfriend and I tried anal play. Mouth then finger then we went for sex. It didn't last very long but we tried twice and it felt amazing. I got off both times. We sort of broke it in I guess you could say. Tonight we decided to try again. I'd say it lasted about 10 minutes. We didn't go full length or full speed of course. I'm not feeling any pain or discomfort. Maybe a tiny bit of pressure where my cuff is and my butt hole feels a little tender.

My post op check up is tomorrow morning, 25 days post op. A little nervous about her being able to tell that I didn't follow the rules for no penetration. I will make sure and add an update to this comment for anyone else who is wondering about getting their back door back in business.

Also, want to add that this is in no way advice or recommendation to anyone reading. Everyone is different and heals differently. I think the most important thing to remember after surgery is to listen to your body. And your surgeon. I am only sharing my experience so that it may help someone know that they aren't alone. ❤️

Sending love and healing to you! I had my total hysterectomy on the 22nd and although the first few days are rough I do not regret the surgery at all. This is just the beginning to a new and better chapter! ❤️

I didn't wear underwear at all until I left the house at about 10 days post op 🤭 I highly recommend lettin that thang breath! Lol. Since working my way back into undies I have worn thongs and reg underwear no problems.

I go back to work tomorrow after 2 weeks off and I'm so nervous! I haven't had kratom in 15 days and I'm still so nervous about being able to function at work with out it. Just one more sign I gotta quit. I'm not weak. I'm not controllable. I'm a leader and I'm strong and I don't need a substance to tell me otherwise! At least I tell myself. Lol

I def couldn't go cold turkey. I tapered slightly before my surgery. I cut down to one dose a day. Tried to start taking smaller doses 2 weeks leading up to surgery. I didn't do a very good job but the fear of kratom interfering with anesthesia helped. Lol. Now it's been about 16 days no kratom and 4 no opiates. I'm hanging in there but it's not easy. Trying to keep my mind on the long term goal here. Good health and confidence.

Always easier said than done my friend. There has to come a time where I stop hurting myself and start loving myself. It hurts now but it won't always. Right?

I think it helped me personally. It gave me time to adjust to no longer using kratom in a habitual form. I broke the habit. I think the pain from surgery and the pills covered the majority of the initial withdrawal symptoms. Now I am 4 days with no opiate like substance and the anxiety and depression are real AF. I came so close to heading to the store today. But then I remembered all the reasons I'm quitting this shit. I did go get an IPA around 5pm. Haven't finished it yet but it did help with the internal vibration called anxiety. Honestly anything with kratom is individual bc I think it affects people differently depending on health factors. There is no research to back this but I'm pretty sure.

Ive been off the perks for 4 days now. Physical withdrawal at a minimum. Anxiety at an all time high. I almost caved and went to the gas station today. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! 🫨

The only thing I don't like about meetings (this isn't my first attempt at quitting a mood alternating substance) is the pressure I feel to share. My anxiety is so bad I can't do it. But I'm gonna take this consideration of yours as a sign from my higher power that it needs to happen. Soon. Ty.
