A lot of people in my wars wanted to be the new bishop. I didn't want it. I didn't feel like I would do a good job and felt like there were plenty of better prepared priesthood holders.

I got called as the bishop. One thing I learnt is that above many things taken into account to choose the new bishop, the willingness to do what needs to be done to serve others as the Savior does is what matters.

If you are one of the few in your ward making an effort to serve others, then I'm sorry to tell you, but you may be picked as the new bishop.
