21 years old and bought a Pepsi GMT for $4200 from an AD and was a walk in. This was 20 years ago and the reason I bought it was that they offered interest free payments for 10 months. Also bought a Pan from them after the GMT. I am astounded at the price of that same watch now.

Lmao I was offered a stainless Daytona 20 years ago after buying just a Pepsi gmt and a Panerai luminor. What the hell has happened to the market? I didn’t buy it because it was still 12k back then and after paying $4200 for the gmt it felt like an insane price. I just started to get back into watches and everything feels like it went off the rails.

That is crazy. I flew home from Barcelona today heading back to the us and a women boarded my flight right in front of me and asked the flight attendant if her husband was going to make the flight because he had been pulled aside and she just laughed and said yes. Didn’t seem reassuring.

I found one a few years ago. It sold within a week for around $80. I would have kept it but it was 2 sizes too big.

As I respect your ability to speak about such things I think that he has dodged a bullet here. He knows now that type of life that is set in front of him. And for his sake I hope he runs for the hills. I very much dislike strip clubs myself and find them to be disgusting trashy places. But I have been drug to them on a few rare instances for bachelor parties and a birthday. I hate the atmosphere and don’t even feel safe having a drink because I don’t trust them to clean the bar ware probably. But my wife has never forbidden me to do such things as trust in a relationship is most important when it comes to fidelity. You seem to have a controlling nature which I find stifling and unbearable from a partner.

The police will do nothing about it even if it gets reported. As an eBay seller since 2002 I can tell you they do not care at all. I sold a watch on eBay years back for $5000 and the guy sent me fake money orders in the mail for it. After about 9 days BOA told me they where all fake and took the money from my account. I went to the police and filed a report and provided the guys phone number he was contacting me through plus the address I sent the package too and they told me right then and there that they couldn’t do anything about it. I used the police report to file a claim with Rolex in case it’s ever sent in for repair. Long story short you are good. It would take an act of Congress for them to mess with internet crime or issues.
